Surprised to see two sides in red and white, even if it is reversed between shirts and shorts. Have to stop and think for a little while as have only just switched on.
Some kind of Blackpool away tribute from West ham with some added speckles, looks like someone spilled some baked beans. Arsenal not being on for that reason is bizzare, didn't we have something similar around rescheduled games.
Got caught up in the city centre chaos of the Plymouth Exeter game this evening. Normally these games kick off at noon as plainly grown men cannot watch a game of football without fighting each other if given the chance to get drunk. Today though Sky demanded their pound of flesh so 745 it was.
Women in the wrong place at the wrong time abused, scared kids crying, streets stinking of weed as pathetic yobs scream foul abuse at each other from behind the safety of burly police lines. Hundreds of police being paid thousands of pounds overtime. Traffic chaos as “supporters” marched through the city centre roads surrounded by police. Decent peoples lives disrupted. I love football, I always have but honestly if staging a Lg1 football match between two cities 45 miles apart comes at this much of a societal and financial cost, I have to ask “what’s the fucking point?. Embarrassed to be a football supporter tonight.
Why put supporters in inverted commas? Unfortunately, the problematic supporters are still genuine supporters (not that marching through the streets en masse is problematic if that's all they're doing). It would be nice if it was as easy as just disowning them as fans, but football as a whole needs to own and tackle the issue.
I think the practice of kettling away fans, and marching them en masse through the town center ends up making it worse. There is strength (and stupidity) in numbers.
Weird one that as when FIFA give you the dubious honour of hosting they tend to require you to rip up large chunks of your own law and fast track this sort of thing. Maybe the relationship between host and governing body are different when it's been paid for.
With about 15 minutes left Chippenham are beating Lincoln and Alvechurch are beating Cheltenham. I hope they both hold on, but even a draw would be huge for either club.

So are Barcelona in genuine financial trouble or not?
Yes, But the size of trouble at which you are so far beyond the sensible that the ridiculous might just work.
Nobody wants to watch or sponsor a lower mid table Barca domestically and the TV money would be minimal.
So let's borrow just a few more quid and see where we get. Disfunctional football finances, as always.
Derby with the Sun out.
The Coupe De France is bonkers and i love it:

This competition always reminds me that France shares its longest land border with... Brazil.
What a game Liverpool v Leeds turned out to be!
Utterly bizarre that Arsenal v Forest can't be televised in the UK just because it was originally in the Saturday 3pm slot
I'm not sure about West Ham's 'spilled tomato soup' kit

Looks closer to orange shorts than red to me?
Did wonder why that game wasn't on. Assumed it was some "Moved for the Europa, not for tv" type non televised job.

No excuse of course, but utterly mad to play it at 8pm on a week night.
Thought that was Sky's PR for the game for a second.
'streets stinking of weed as pathetic yobs scream foul abuse at each other...'
Literally the Green Army then!

Kettling regularly leads to flashpoints in football and non-football environments. It's dangerous.
Accurate (find me glued to the telly from 10-9 come 22 November) https://twitter.com/BenKentish/status/1587581178089033730?t=3VVaJwcAbhTgbxcPs5dqAQ&s=19
Huddersfield bottom of the Championship. We think we have a "playoff hangover". We can count ourselves lucky!!
Did any Gasroomers make the provisional 55 man England squad??
Seriously, what is the f'ing point?!?!?!
Visa clearance to enter Qatar.
@ReturnToSenda from that tweet thread - "I'm not even collecting stickers" LOL
Have you seen the price of them this year?!
On a different note good to see Liam Rosenior getting the Hull head coach job.
It is worth listening to what Patrick Vieira has to say on the number of non white managers in football https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/av/football/63390944 & https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/63385012

I'm not sure it is for visa clearance - no need to name a provisional squad just for that
I guess you need to get visa clearance for everyone who might need one eventually. It’s not a provisional squad in any meaningful sense.

There it is for Chippenham! 1-0- win over Lincoln! Love it!
