Can you articulate why you like it? I don't hate it, because it's too boring to hate. But I certainly don't think it's any good.
It's not aesthetically pleasing. The proportions aren't attractive. The font for the letters "CU" is both boring and ugly.
It doesn't say anything to me about Cambridge. What's the castle doing there? Is there even a castle in Cambridge?
About the best you can say about it is that it is unambiguously a football badge. If it's arguable that it's one of the best badges in the EFL, what are those arguments?
I’m excited because each game lately is elevating us closer to our rightful (?) level in the table.
I’ve been watching non-league/League football for long enough to know that, as expectations increase, so do the chances of a disappointing/frustrating result. Having said that, our profligacy in front of goal must surely soon come to an end.
I am @micra. Currently, ahem, hard at work, overlooking some grey and windy prairies. Hopefully the dull weather isn't a portend of our chances later on today.
Stockdale was a bit of a clown but in the complimentary sense.
The Poland goalkeeper, Jan Tomaszewski, was described by Brian Clough, ahead of a World Cup game that England needed to win, as a clown in the derogatory sense.
Depending on just where you are geographically (and of course nature of work and working environment), I guess evening midweek games can sometimes be difficult.
Sorry @floyd. I think I misunderstood your reference to ‘a couple of hours after the game ends.’ I thought you arrived home a couple of hours after the game finished.
But, on reflection, (and very commendably!) you must mean that you resume work for a couple of hours after the game has finished.
Illinois, which claims to be the 'middle of everything,' but is much closer to the east coast than the west. 1000 miles east gets me to the Atlantic, 1000 west barely gets me to the Rockies.
Nice! If you are ever in Denver (or anywhere in Colorado) I would love to meet up. Are you in Chicago area? My company is headquartered there, though I have not flown up in a while and I am trying to move on.

Arguably one of the best badges in the EFL.
Why has it got a Lego chimney on top?
The badge would be interesting if they amalgamated with Northampton !!
Last week someone parked in my usual space “CU next Tuesday” I said, he told me to f-off.

Is the football even geometrically accurate? It looks off.
Yup, A small child could knock this out in about 10 mins using MS Word and it's so original it looks like really crappy merch from eBay.
So, we have won the badge argument. Now for the football.
It’s been so long since I’ve watched a game I’m far too excited for Cambridge at home!

Are you still in the States @floyd ?
Cambridge have lost their last 5 games. We've won our last 3.
0-0 nailed on.

Aye, just takes a bit of planning. Early start this morning and i anticipate a couple of hours after the game ends.
Saturday at 9am often proves more difficult!
Aaah, assumed you were somehow able to watch it live.
9.00 am start for Saturday games. So you’re well across towards the west coast.

@floyd - have you moved to Illinois permanently or are you on a business trip?
We moved here about a year ago. I'm just trying to get closer to Colorado, where all the true Wycombe fans live!
Special Guests
90s legends Martin O'Neill, Keith Ryan and Keith Scott are back at Adams Park tonight and will be welcomed onto the pitch at half-time.
Brilliant combo.
The great MON and two of the best Wycombe players in our distinguished history.
CUFC don’t appear to be relishing the prospect of the game:

I was enjoying that until the part about 'knowing what Ainsworth is about'
I had to laugh at that bit, especially as we played them off the park last time we were there!
Never mind @ReturnToSenda, tonight is the return OF Senda. Disco Danny is on comms with Phil.
My hero 😍
