It is amazing that on one hand we have players with the skills and experience of Vokes, GMac and Mawson dropping down to play for us.
On the other hand, it is amazing that we have been able to discover and develop talents such as Mehmeti and Forino, who are heading in the other direction.
From those descriptions, I can identify who the daughter/father combo is and am pleased that, as someone who wears a cap occasionally, I don't sit with anyone with a ginger beard...
This may only interest me, but Anis Mehmeti is the only player to start all 13 games. This is not surprising, but what I do find surprising is that the only other player to have started more than 10 is Lewis Wing with 12.
Sure I read on a link to Swanns' match report that he stated that because the shot from Obita hit the ref, it gave the opportunity for WWFC to put the ball in the box and from that Vokes scored. Well I have watched that goal time and time again & two things struck me.
1) As the ball hit the referee, he had to, by the rules of the game, stop & return the ball to WWFC, which gave Posh time to re set their defence.
2) I have counted six passes amongst WWFC players until the ball arrived at Freemans delightful control & turn.
His latest insult is to accuse us of ‘primitive, limited tactics’ which makes it surprising that most of our opponents in the last couple of seasons - including Peterborough- have failed to find a way to beat us.
Swann joined Twitter in December 2010 and has made 191,500 tweets, which equates to approximately 43 per day, every single day for 12 years. That's not normal even for a journalist updating his local readership, surely. So maybe he does need help.
We could/should really kick on from a fantastic win over Peterborough.
Looking at our remaining fixtures this month and going into November plus the players we have coming back from injury there's no reason we can't achieve 18points before we play Portsmouth in December.
There is usually a point in the first half of a Wycombe season where we go on a "montage run", like the happy montage at the end of the first act of a movie, where it feels like the celebrations and goals are almost blending together. I hope now is that time!
By the way, should we just carry on this thread for the Papa Johns as it is the same opponent? I like the lineup - minutes for Hanlan, Kaikai and Horgan while still giving the youngsters a chance.

Delighted that he’s heading so well for Wycombe currently.

A heady mix!
Continuing the heading theme, has Mehmeti scored with his head since he came into the first team squad ?
One for @ReturnToSenda perhaps.
Once, v Cambridge at home last season

This article states Fuchs was bought for £150K, not a million pounds.
Thanks @ReturnToSenda.

Having said this (after checking the database), I feel like it actually went in off his neck or something.
I think Mawson has started every game since signing? And obviously Stryjek.

So where did we gain an unfair advantage?
Swanny is deluded, he needs medical help.
Bird flu.
Sometimes I wish we could just mute Swann, but it's fun to ruffle his feathers.

Needs to migrate to another country
or Flock off
“ primitive limited tactics“ does he mean by that the ability to score more goals than the other side?

Exciting times!!!
Probably also that primitive limited move from Freeman which left their sophisticated player grasping at air.

Looks like AAH is the unlucky winner of the surprise injury sweepstakes.
De Barr out again ? Would've thought he'd be a shoe in for tonight, even if just on the bench
Sure he was sub a couple of weeks ago
I'm ashamed to say I'm losing track of some of these youngsters, where did we get Ward and Kaninda from again ?
Unfortunate he isn’t of the Mute Swan type.
Unfortunate he is of the Trumpeter Swan type - in all senses of that descriptor.
@ReturnToSenda didn’t Alfie come on as a sub in his first game back? Ever present since.
TJ was in a tracksuit in the Woodlands pre match on Saturday , Ali A-H was booted in suit and tie. Both moving freely.
