I thought it was a cross as well, especially as it was an out swinging cross.
Was one of those perfect crosses that a defender/keeper needs to do something with otherwise the slightest touch and it goes in. He Seemed miffed no one attacked it, or followed it up when it came off the post either. Vokes, and this is about the one critism I had of him yesterday, just seem to watch it come into the box and go out again as he stood on the 6 yard box. Although, looking again on replay, the defender did have a hand full of his shirt.
I always chuckle at how everyone seems to have been 'right behind' or 'right in line with' any significant event during a game. Does the whole Gasroom occupy one tiny section of Adams Park?
I don’t understand the suggestion that we’re not allowed to criticise Nick Freeman. I personally have never felt the need as he consistently plays the game with the attitude, class and composure that is a joy to watch. I happily accept that he doesn’t chase around, snapping at heels 👠 (whoops) and thereby increasing the risk of yellow cards and injuries and one match suspensions.
Bear in mind also that attack and intelligent use of the ball reduces the number of occasions when a foul or sloppy pass by a more combative midfielder returns the initiative to the opposition.
As I’ve said elsewhere (MOTM thread?), I am more than happy with the Wing/Freeman pairing.
He's doing a very unfamiliar job at the moment and the best option we've got.
But to put him man of the match as one poster seemed to, over Mawson, Vokes and McCleary is so bizarre when the centre mid totally struggled to make an impact for most of the game.
Totally agree Max looks a great accomplished keepers, superb positioning. One of Allsops weakness was parrying the ball out to oncoming strikers. Max has strong hands, and pushes the ball away from danger.
I would have thought getting Max on an extended contract, will be in the thoughts of GA.
If you were sat on either of the touchline stands, you may have noticed that the goal at the terrace end had a slight backward lean to it. Wonder if that's why JJ's corners were particularly inswinging yesterday???
I wish I could remove the clown from the terrace yesterday.
1-0 down but playing fairly well: “Any other team in this league would have shown some ambition and sacked their manager by now.”
Not surprised to see them walk in the direction of the bar after 39 mins of the half - five more of normal time plus an additional five or six of added to come because of the injuries.
They missed the goal and went very quiet in the second half. Some right nonsense behind the goal.
The bloke that sits behind me in the Frank Adams, knows everything there is to know about all of our players, and gives a constant running commentary every game... he wasn't there yesterday, and it was brilliant !!
Bumped in to an old mate/work colleague in the beer tent yesterday. He is predominantly a West Ham supporter that I tried to convert years ago, to no avail. He's coming down to the odd game now due to his son-in-law who is an avid WWFC supporter. The last thing he said to me before we parted company was WWFC are going to win 3-1. What a soothsayer. Must ask him about the next winning numbers are on the lotto next time. 👍️
It has been like that for many many seasons now. Not as bad yesterday as a couple of years back. Wonder if the Lino’s will be checking this as well as size of goals (!!) in future?
I was pretty sure we would win after we got that equaliser just before HT. It just felt like they were running out of ideas even though they had a lot of possession. A real good win for us and let’s go and beat MK now.

Definitely a cross, I was sat right behind him when he hit it

Yes, fair is fair, Freeman was brilliant in that move for the goal, but was a big reason we had a huge hole in midfield yesterday.
I don't think anyone mentioned the epic announcement of his goal, mocking the Boro fans for slating him as a something like a rubbish Ivan Toney.
Edit..I see @EwanHoosaami mentioned it above.
Not sure over 100miles classes as fairly close by in fairness.
And do only we get to play the "our crowd is crap because of the cost of living crisis" card and they don't?
That must be a tricky chant @Malone !
Exactly, but don't say it too much as he's one player were not allowed to criticise

Pretty much. Frank Adams - middle-aged white males block (strangely overrun by young children yesterday)

Would be madness not to @ChasHarps.

End of this video from the Posh end, you see all of mawsons run in it’s glory.

Can someone please upload some opposition views 🙏

Tbf there wasn't that many moaning about us, they were too busy moaning about their own team and manager
In any crowd you'll always get some like that.
Probably declaring they have a right to an opinion in their next breath.
My bet.....@Wanderers82
I was standing next to someone who gloomily notified me we hadn't come from behind to win a game in donkeys' years. He was ecstatic by the end though.
I'd told him at half time we'd win and he'd scoffed at it. Wonder if he posts on here?

What Block dare I ask?
Q.... please don't say its you !

I do wonder what goes on during the week in the lives of people behind the goal that makes them SO ANGRY come matchday.
My understanding from @bluntphil that there will be suitably ‘salty’ oppo views on ‘Ringing The Blues’ podcast this week!

No, only toffs sit in Q thankfully.
And I was there yesterday in fairness.
