Reading the Burton forum a couple of them think we should have had a 'couple of pens' as well. But that could just be because they are not happy with Jimmy.
"Red is blue" could be both an opinion and a fact for a colour-blind person or indeed a philosophically minded blind person. Context is important - Red could be a person who is feeling sad and then "Red is blue" would be an opinion which would be checkable as a fact by asking Red, assuming they told the truth. Or someone could be describing a political map to an American.
The gasroom is a fine place, an opinion for which there is a fair bit of evidence. For example @railwaybeth has just explained to me that @Forest_Blue has hit on a good point. She tells that he shows that it is possible to make a statement which is semantically empty - devoid of meaning. She says that this illustrates the difference between truth tellers who define accurately the state of the world, liars who deliberately inaccurately represent the state of the world and bullshitters who don't care about the difference and are only bothered about the impression that they leave in the minds of their audience.
@bookertease: Please don't be depressed - there is a fourth category - the humourist. The gasroom is particuarly blessed with such people. They care that they leave their audience feeling better about the state of the world than they did before.

That is an equal measure of amazingly profound and incredibly depressing
My brain hurts, 🤯
