I don't have good sources for player appearances (@ReturnToSenda, any recommendations?) but just based on Wikipedia, Bloomfield, Bayo and Stewart played 1097 Wycombe games between them. Quite incredible for three departures during/at the end of the same season!
Cheers @Vital - though that site only has a total of 853 for all three players, with Bloomfield at 434 for all comps as opposed to the 556 from Wikipedia. That can't be right, surely?
It doesn't need to make sense to you. @ReturnToSenda knows where he got the Broomfield stat from and having talked about sources and journalistic integrity this week I was just surprised he didn't credit the source.
Then it must be a huge surprise for you to learn that this isn’t a journalism publication, it’s some people having a chat on the internet. I’m sorry that wasn’t made clear enough for you, but it never crossed my mind that anyone might think the gasroom was a publisher.
Also there is a clear difference between stating a statistic that is publicly available, and making a statement about a player transfer which is only known to a limited few - hence the need for a source.
He criticised the club, I criticised him, you criticised me. That’s how forums work. I’m perfectly chilled and fully aware of the length of the season thanks.

This will be the first season since 04-05 that someone other than Matt Bloomfield has the no10 shirt
I know it's heresy to even suggest such things regarding Bloomfield, but it never felt right seeing him wear number 10 did it?
Wing isn't a 10 either, more of an 8
He'll probably assist and score more though?
But yes, still a bit deeper than you'd have ideally liked. Surprised Wing and Mehmeti weren't the other way round.
I was going to say Gape as 4 isn't really appropriate either, but none of our midfielders really sit
4 or 8 for centre mids makes sense.
But a 10 you'd hope creates and scores a few.
Although these numberings are probably both a bit before your time, and the old argument was always which a 4 or a 6 should be a centre back 😂
Minutes of debate to be had on that one.
I assumed midfielders wearing 4 came from Cruyff - that's what he called the sitter
As long as we don't have players wearing absolutely stupid numbers like 66 (I'm looking at you, Trent), all good!

This naming your source stuff is very random .

Wikipedia is usually inaccurate @Shev - try Soccerbase for stats...
https://www.soccerbase.com/teams/team.sd?team_id=2898
seems like Mawson on way to Birmingham...we always leave it to late

It has Blooms at 558 by my reckoning (sub appearances in brackets)
Soccerbase/Transfermarkt usually good for appearances
1) How do you know that we were ever in the market for Mawson?
2) If we were how do you know that Mawson didn’t prefer to go to a Championship club?
3) How do you know that Birmingham didn’t offer bigger wages and a longer contract?
4) There’s still a month to go before the season starts.
5) You have no idea what signings we have or may have in the offing.
That apart your post made a lot of sense.
Ah gotcha, thanks!
Thats what she said.... 🤣
I haven't seen this in the BFP so its not happening or real😉
Season’s not even started and you’ve already got on your ‘ high horse’ . Chill, it’s a long season.
Your desperate, grasping attempts to have a dig at young people used to at least make sense.

More than just today I'd imagine, unfortunately.
There's no rules on the interweb old son.

Glad to see you are taking your role as unofficial spokesperson for the club seriously.
