He’s got no hope in hell with that team. If you’re relying on the likes of Rossiter, Pierre and Bloxham in League 1 in 2025 then you’re in deep trouble.
I love how Blooms eventually responded to Shrewsbury bypassing the midfield by taking Humphreys off and sticking an extra forward on and keeping them under massive pressure at the back.
This team has so much in their locker. You want to play it hard, we'll match you. You want to play football, we do it better. Think you can score goals, we'll get more. Just so much to admire.
I echo all the comments above, missed Phil on comms, but Sam Avery is an excellent commentator, always well prepped with information, gets the game & is very even in his commentary.
As @drcongo said so much better than the regular servings of dross from Sky
Chuffed for Leahy to have a good game, including two assists.
In five league games with Scowen gone we are W3 D2 L0, and even though some of those performances have dropped off a touch, we are really minimizing the damage of him being out.
What are the odds he comes back with fanfare and we lose his first game back?
A year ago (MB’s first game) I remember lambasting Chem Campbell in the away end and thinking we looked a shadow of ourselves. The difference between then and now is just mesmerising.
The journey to Bloomsball v2 has been amazing, especially given his almost block headed persistence with 5 at the back in the early part of his tenure, the shift to some sort of variation on 4-3-3 and having sufficient strikers to essentially sub them all in the second half has been the real transformation for me, along with us having sufficient depth to be comfortable with the back ups for all 11 positions.
Nice to see Caleb Taylor get on the scoresheet. Shrewsbury wrestling with Joe Low and up pops Caleb at the far post. These two are a superb CB pairing.

Cambridge have equalised late at Wrexham. Let’s hope they can hold on
YEEESSS Cambridge equalized at Wrexham 2-2.
Late Cambridge equaliser v Wrexham. Hold on lads!
I completely agree. Always sad to miss the colour and humour that @bluntphil brings, but Sam Avery is routinely good.
It's desmond at huddersfield and wrexham
Stockport losing too
Dekker?
Going long with a team that doesn't contain JJ or Bayo isn't working that well for Gareth
It appears our commentator's bench is as strong as our player's bench. Thoroughly enjoyed Sam Avery's commentary on Wycombe Sound this afternoon.
Shrewsbury fans booing "time wasting" by Harvie at the end, and he smirks at them as he runs past. Love it!

We’re quite good aren’t we?

I am a MOTM
43 goals, 43 points, what's not to like!
4 goals from 7 shots is a solid return

Think we'll stay up
That table looks very healthy indeed.
13 points clear of 7th as well as the little lead over 3rd and 4th
It's great to see the progress between Blooms' first match at Shrewsbury to his 101st. Scintilating stuff!
As for GA, Shrewsbury are going to get cut adrift. Difficult to play against, but not enough goals and a leaky defence is a disastrous combination.
Not even sure we will see him for the return leg at AP.

Sounded like a professional job done today.
Looking forward to Friday night now! Big game under the lights, should hopefully be a good atmosphere.

Fantastic result today.
Could be a bit short in midfield on Friday, with Leahy needing to move to LB to cover Harvie and Morley not able to play.

Are we sure we can't just put one of those fake noses and glasses on Morley and sneak him on?

Leahy slipping in to cover Harvie @PrinceOfCrowell but I know what you mean 👍👍
impossible as we aren't losing this season.
