After Tuesdays game, can see a 2-0 win today. Not worried about not winning on a Saturday for 6 months - could see the shoots of improvement and the team getting to know each other a bit better against Orient.
I love the badge - in a world where clubs get an ounce of success and immediately discard their old badge for a glossy 2D soulless-but-smart crest (see Man City, Chelsea, Brighton), Burton’s badge is proof that you can rise up from non-league to the Championship with a rather large but well-meaning gentleman adorning their kit all the way.
A friend of a friend (a Bristol City man, I think) was surprised to hear that he was struggling, saying that his impression (not sure if based on reputation or from seeing the guy play) was that he was a strong (aggressive even) box to box midfielder.
We don’t know of course whether a snap judgement was made that he wasn’t going to cut it or whether other wider reaching factors came into play. The availability of a larger number of midfielders than usual this season may also have been a consideration.
Whatever the reason, I’m sure we all hope that his return to Maine Road (if true) will be a happy one.
I am thinking a frustrating, even controversial draw, in which we have the better of the game. I feel like it is going to take almost Marcus Bean levels of drama (and possibly the green kit) to win on a Saturday.

New fanzine please buy cheers
One of my favourite badges. Fat man fails to control the ball. It’s a notably self-deprecating affair.
I think he's actually about to score an incredible bicycle kick
It's happening today, on a Saturday ! As my old mum used to say... I can feel it in my water
“Burton badge bloke, ‘ya t*ts are offside”
We haven't won on a Saturday for 6 months now. Which means this is a 'must win' game.
That’s an extraordinary statistic.

Has there been a player who actually had such a large gut. I'm thinking maybe 100 years ago they might have looked like that.
Although, in fairness, I do look like that now!
Physics defying effort

Inspirational.
You definitely do not @Twizz. Unless you’ve been putting away some seriously high calories since our long chat over coffee 15 months ago.
Agree entirely.
Why does he have concave shins?!
Very quiet on the Burton forum. They aren't expecting a win and hope Taylor doesn't break their hearts.
interest experience today watching the game alone.
Still no Breckin in the team or on the bench. Is he still with us? Has he returned to Man City?
Good to see Forino on the bench, hope he has recovered & cannot wait to see him & Low alongside each other.
Yeah, I think the club have sent Breckin back to Man City under the 30-day return policy for loanees.
It sounds it but over the last six months we have only played 6 games at home on a Saturday.
Not good form at all but we last beat Burton on a Sat in Feb and we play Burton today.
Fingers crossed hey ⚽️
Bottom of the league, hapless, pointless Burton.
Don't jinx it though.
If they could get a super early red please
Boys looking sharp in the warm up.

If you want a jinx, these two teams have never had a draw against each other......
Sssh I don’t think @ReturnToSenda was being serious…
9-8 to us (or Burton, can’t remember!) over last 17 meetings.
I think he was.
He once played against Josh Scowen.
