I also guess Dan Rice wasn’t Bluffing earlier in the year when he said we could go out and do what Birmingham have done but decided to go a different way.
For the record, I’m still uneasy at this spending. I hope the academy foundations they are building the model on are going to be good and strong if this sort of investment continues. They’ll want/need a return at some point (although that may well be selling us again for squillions once we’re champions of Europe)
It’s like that time you were 18 with your first credit card buying ALL of the things and then Wondering why you had no more disposable cash 6 months later.
Oh, but how good you felt in your new threads in Eden.
Does Taylor count as positive window business seeing as we lost him in the window (from a season-long loan) to begin with? I can't figure out that conundrum.
I am also a little surprised Wrexham have not splashed the cash more this window.
We have a clear advantage over Wrexham and Huddersfield inasmuch as we have it in us to thrash teams, and the drop-off from that is winning by the odd goal. Those two tend to win by the odd goal, so the drop-off from that is drawing or losing.
Very simplistic, but I thought both would add serious firepower.

This transfer has got me believing that we will sign Morley on a permanent before the window closes. It’s happening!
Well we need Morley or a Morley clone. Absolute priority.
As is signing a right back assuming Pattenden out for a while.
This will be the “….do you remember that January when….” season we refer back to
Maybe,,,,but next year's might be fucking mental.
Can't see it but then when this one broke I did wonder what if...
Next January Window. Top of the Championship....
Does anyone remember the time when it was speculated the new owners were struggling to get business done?
I guess throwing money at the problem is a solution. This window will go down in history.
Time will tell if it’s for good, bad or other.
Yes, I am both excited and nervous. 🤦🤦
That would ignite the "backing the manager" versus bringing players in debate again.
Let's deffo not do that, everyone's back happy again!

Yes please, full steam ahead only, no deviations.

He's just spent 3 weeks in the Championship, obviously a better player now
That argument is moot anyway while there is no manager not to back.
Good point but I’ll leave that one with you @Shev .
It must do if we replaced him twice before getting him back
One thing for certain, is those rival fans revelling in us losing contributors aren't feeling quite as smug now!
Who’s that in the pic?
Yes those entitled Wrexham bunch.
Steve Buscemi

I was going to say Wrexham have had quite a few late home wins.
Then realised that over the last 7 or 8 home league games, we've only won 3 and all in the last min !
I still expect us to get back to handing out the odd hammering, too. It feels like we could have had five or six yesterday, for starters!
😂😂 very good… definitely isn’t but bugger me I thought it was Tony Hemmings!!
Me!
(it’s not me)
BTW when googling Tony Hemmings in a rush I can confirm a slight typing error may result autocorrect reverting to “tiny haemorrhoids”.
Now he was fast.
Think their joint owner might be a little side-tracked at the moment with some messy court cases.
That Sounds like a pain in the arse.
