stop raking up old points then which you seem to do!!! There is the truth and then theres wanting to give people a chance so re wording it to give them the benefit of doubt, as i dont want to seem like i have an agenda against someone.
I really like your posts, even the really cryptic ones. I’m sure the majority of us do. Please don’t let a few silly dissenters get to you. most of us have really enjoyed your input.
I, for one, would be quite sad if you were to do that @kipper. I completely understand why you sometimes can't be more open with your comments and I'd like to think that most on here enjoy your views and insight. Your hints and tips really bring parts of the forum to life with conversation and I hope that wasn't going to stop because some people can't appreciate your contribution.
I think this transfer window has brought out a lot of bad qualities in us. The club is undergoing a huge change with a new manager/head coach being appointed soon (hopefully), new players coming in that we've never heard of, some surprises that catch us all off-guard, preparing ourselves to potentially say goodbye to some players who have been around for a while and still trying to understand our new Chairman / Owner's thought process.
I believe this community can be amazing however we have all run away with our fingers and thumbs recently and haven't taken into consideration the wider view. Some people post to create conversation, some use it as an escape and some use this as a place to communicate their passion for the club that they love. Noone on here has the right to reject or talk down to anyone and can we just keep that in mind?? We have lost @drcongo for a little while so he can reset, I fear we are about to lose our best source of information too. Please, just take a chill pill!
Can I take this opportunity to apologise to @marlowchair publicly for any contributing role in their choosing to leave the site (and it was reassuring to see them post briefly recently). I was very open with my challenging which I thought at the time was reasonable but accept in hindsight must have appeared to have been harassing at best, bullying at worse.
@kipper I enjoy your input & it would be sad to see you go, perhaps do what the good @drcongo has done and take a short(ish) break.
This has been the hardest 2 weeks I have known in my time on The Gasroom, with all that has gone on with the club, we all need to perhaps take a wee bit of time to reflect on how we would like to be treated and consider if we have managed to treat others that way too.
Please all look after yourselves, it is after all only footbal despite what Shankley famously said.
You don’t have to go. If I’m the issue, press the ignore button on me.
I welcome you to whistle blow and tell the truth if there’s bad things happening. Heaven knows we need someone to do so and if you have it and you have inside knowledge, without getting yourself or whomever you’re getting the info from into trouble because (unless you are whistleblowing to genuine threats to life) that’s not worth it.
All I am saying is, if you have the reputation of having inside knowledge - which I don’t doubt - either don’t share it at all if it could reveal your source (priority number 1) or give it as cold hard facts. Let the reader decide on how they take that info.
Changing it or giving half truths does nothing but bring into question your own credibility.
Shame on you (in a light hearted manner since so many posters are getting sensitive) for mis-spelling the name of my biggest football hero, the great Bill Shankly (no ‘e’) who by the way denied that he ever said football is more important than life and death).

Maybe going to 3 at the back would be great for Kodua's game time as a RWB?

Dear Mr Kipper,
Please don’t let the pond life on here drive you away. See Marlow Chair for details.
The Gasroom has always been torn between wanting actual information while simultaneously vilifying those who supply it.
Never understood why people don’t want to know stuff while spending their day on the message board.
What I do know is we are blooming lucky to have this brilliant forum.
We should commission a bronze sculpture in Dr Congo’s image.
Preferably not by the sculptor who did Michael Jackson at The Cottage or Ronaldo at Madeira Airport.
"I am an architect, they call me a butcher."
Sounds like a mashup of Guided by Voices and Interpol. Would listen.
Oh it's a Manics lyric, and now I feel like a heathen for not knowing that
Bit geeky this, but it's always bothered me how they're referred to as "The Manics" given that Manic is the adjective.
Should be "The Preachers" really
It's "The Stones", not "The Rollings" isn't it?
I will probably get a red card for this!
Oh @kipper you really can’t go
You know things that none of us know
just block @aloysius
He’s being malicious
And a miserable old so-and-so
Are you thinking that @drcongo owns the railway that Thomas the Tank Engine uses??
"I am a pioneer, they call me primitive'
I love your pedantry.
The Preachers already existed: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=slhjtTbz1f4
They weren't the sort of band to drop an @Alexo-style c-bomb four words into an album opener though, unfortunately.
"All virgins are liars, honey"

I always think the emphasis is in the wrong place - it should be on Street not Manic, surely?
Less of the old please.
Surely they are street preachers who are manic. They don't preach on a manic street.
That's my logic
*Manic* Street Preachers suggests they're preaching on a road named Manic Street
Same thing if you put the emphasis on Preachers
Anyway, something about transfers?
Something about transfers - Matt Butcher on loan to Bristol Rovers
https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/exclusive-bristol-rovers-closing-in-on-wycombe-wanderers-matt-butcher/
Not surprising really, he needs to play
Feel sorry for him, great last season but others have come in who are a little better
