Isn't that same amazing video technology available to give him a retrospective ban? I hate VAR anyway, but even if it was the most amazing surgical tool possible, putting it in the hands of crazed meerkats does not do anyone any good.
It was just the first example that popped in my head but save for the past few year or two we’ve been stacked with players who would get pile in as well as haranguing referees to get decisions as you say. We played every game right on the edge in the early Ainsworth years and were absolute masters at winding up opposition players and piling in if any flashpoint.
Marcus Bean, Paul Hayes, Adam El Abd, Bayo, Luke O’Nien, Gary Doherty, Dean Morgan, Peter Murphy, Barry Richardson, Alfie Mawson, Nathan Tyson, Darius Charles, Yves Ma-Kalamby were all Ainsworth era players who would get up close and personal if anything kicked off.

Was that not a friendly?
And one example in 10 or so years doesn't really prove a point does it?

It was a pre-season friendly in France, I think. I’ve a feeling someone fouled Scott Kashket, Bayo’s partner in crime, and he was having none of it.
It was on O'Nein, probably before Kashket arrived.
I think Bayo and Scotty were both involved in pre-season in August 2016.
Had to check, Kashket signed at the end of August after the season had started.
Thanks @StrongestTeam . Good to clear that up.
