It did feel like the Phenomenon plug was pulled during the course of last season. They were offering international sponsorship of players (which they do not appear to be this season) but only fulfilled half of the items before going radio silent.
The Gasroom has a reputation of being full of grumpy old men, but lets applaud the effort of the grumpy young men, who are doing some great work on this thread.
"My objective will be to generate a team spirit amongst the staff and achieve our commercial goals in the same way that Gareth does at the training ground."
back to matters in hand, does the £30k a year Lease payment to the trust have adjustments against RPIor inflation as that’ll not buy a loaf of bread in 20 years the way things are going.
If it’s a fixed amount for 50 years we seem to be giving the ground away anyway.
Sadly can't make it but have voted in advance. Would be interested to know if all the current trust board backed the football club budget for this season and spending on the wage bill / level of debt racked up during the past year.

I can barely say phenomenon, never mind all that in one go !
So if RC sells and we get a new owner less prone to hyperbole, will it become the Worldwide Wycombe Mildly Interesting Happening?
To the best of my knowledge I don’t think the Spanish fans have been over this season
Could be wrong.. Shame they really added something to the atmosphere
I still can't get over reading his quotes before the intended take over about Yeovil.
Saying about making them the most exciting football experience in the country!
It does make me a little sad that the Interstellar Yeovil Experience never took off.
Wonder how much extra time he'd have spent travelling back and forward to that backwater!
He also says in the article something to the affect that as part of his interest in the club it was vital that Yeovil owned their own stadium...

What is the cut off of young to old on the gasroom?
I thought it was about 57
I’m 38 but most days I feel like Frank Navasky.
Wowzers, I read your posts like you're 58!
Just kidding. I knew 😁
I have genuinely been called a young cynic
I think I first met Floyd when he was a middle-aged sixth former
What are the club paying Phil Alexander to do?

Being a Nigel Farage lookalike?
Genuine LOL

57 isn’t old
Well so far we've lost 3 staff members that I can count.
Gk coach
Female physio (apologies I don't know her name)
Blooms
And we haven't replaced any of them....
Light the fireworks.
Bravo!
He was talking about the administrative staff, not those who come under GA’s jurisdiction.

Can’t afford them, hired a Nigel Farage lookalike !
I think he was maybe misquoted. What he really said was "the most exciting football experience in the county".
From the, albeit limited, conversations I’ve had with non-football staff I would say PA stretches the usual definition of ‘team spirit’.
AGM tonight. RC won't be there but will there be fireworks?

Only damp squibs. Trust seem to me to be a bit of an irrelevance now so I won't be there
