67.4 miles from the closest part of the M11 to Carrow Road by road but you have to go through the middle of Thetford (in Liz Truss's constituency). The bypass is quicker but about half a mile longer.
Plymouth Home Park to where the A38 turns into the M5 is almost inevitably 42 miles.
I did a rough check on Lincoln and Barrow and they are both considerably closer to the M1 and the M6 respectively.
I will pose the original question to my sister and brother-in-law as they are season ticket holders for that remotest of grounds.
Having taken a speed awareness course recently I can very boringly point out that a 'duel carriageway' refers to any road with a central reservation (not the number of lanes).
So, in theory a one lane road can be a dual carriageway if a central reservation is present.
All Fa Cup talk inevitably ends in HIghway Code discussion.
Closing the Frank Adams stand for this fixture seems defeatist of the club and to put the most illustrious club cup competition in the world on a par with the Autoglass. The £40 Woodlands offer is welcome, however. Tempted, @micra?
Sadly the only way the FA Cup is the most illustrious club cup competition in the world is in the history books. I wish it weren't so but it's hard to ignore the reality of half empty stadiums and teams largely made up of reserve players.
Sadly, @our_frank, health and related mobility issues have prevented me from going to Adams Park since early last season.
We do get out for meals with friends and recently have had three very enjoyable visits to the Wycombe Swan. A small group of us are going there on Wednesday evening for an evening with Bayo and I hope to bump into a few people/see a few faces I haven’t seen for some time.
I’ll probably be wearing an old favourite Wycombe top (very old, in fact) with Vandanel emblazoned on the front. If anyone on here sees me, please say hello.
Pisses me off that they always shut the stand with the best view first. Why don’t they ever shut the main or family stands first?
The central blocks of the main/family stands are pretty much all reserved for season ticket holders, so it’s either buy now and have a poorer view in the wings or wait until Thurs and hope central tickets become available.
Our fairly recent FA Cup draw against Leatherhead ( second round ) attracted a crowd of nearly 4000 so I'm a little baffled at the decision to close the Frank Adams for the Walsall game. I imagine most people are creatures of habit and like to sit or stand happily in their little corner of the stadium which they inhabit on match day. Whilst there may be a slight financial benefit from this decision, and I can understand it for EFL trophy ties, this just doesn't feel right. Being corralled into foreign parts of our home ground which are not our preference is all a little off-putting. Why not close the terrace and house them in the family stand?!!
Not convinced the financial benefit is worth the ill feeling this creates among Frank Adams season ticket holders. It really pisses me off when they do this.

Scunthorpe is about 100m from the A1077(M) but I’m not sure if it’s visible.
I thought I was in with Newcastle and the A1(M), but according to Google Maps it’s not an (M) at that point.
And for @DevC, @eric_plant and @YorkshireBlue -

@railwaysteve ahhhh, ‘remotest of grounds’ is surely a different pub quiz question to the original ‘furthest from a motorway’?

Hey @LX1 I thought you might like a picture of a duel carriageway with a central reservation

Took me a while but, yes, clever response.
very good!
The Hawthorns is also visible from the motorway.
Good piece on sky sports news this hour discussing which way oilysailor's poem will go this year. Motorway enthusiasts brimming over with anticipation
Agree that national excitement is mounting. I'm expecting a saddles vs chairs theme, myself.
Seat of the pants stuff
Adam Leathers expected to play an important role

Makes sense to shut the part of the ground furthest away from the pitch for a game that'll only get 4,000 at a push
Looks like you can go in the Family Stand.
3 days later just got this. Getting old. Nice work!
In any other country I've visited it is.

Walsall fans may be put off due to the National rail strike that day, on what is a relatively cheap and straightforward journey.
Is the Frank Adams shut ?? I'd missed that if so, bit annoying, don't really fancy the terrace anymore
Saves on policing costs controlling the crisp eating ruffians in this part of the ground!
Why is the article announcing that prices are very reasonable but the Frank Adams is closed illustrated by a picture of ... the Frank Adams?
"Here is a picture of a very nice stand in which you're not allowed to sit."

I am a Frank Adams attendee but not a season ticket holder as I can't quite justify it so I do sympathise with you immensely.
Was there anything at the point of sale about a season ticket guaranteeing you availability of the same seat for cup games?
