Afraid to say this one’s on Gareth (and that’s rare). Completely failed at half time to sort the obvious problems in midfield and we’ve just become less sure of ourselves as the game’s gone on.
One to move on from this game - we paid the price for not being at it at the beginning of the second half, hopefully can avoid letting the second half on Saturday and tonight turning into a slump

First 20 minutes we were unstoppable. This second half has been pretty awful - misplaced passes, sloppy balls into the box.
Foul along way from goal though, they're passing through us like we aren't there and our quality of passing long or short or cross is nowhere
I thought the defender cleanly tackled Hanlan there tbf.
Subs?

Truly shocking defending all over the park.
Haven’t been in this second half at all. Some poor decisions in there from the ref but still a distant second

How many wild miskicks there?
How did that not go in?
Jason McCarthy cannot cross a football, btw.
The refs given us everything since.
Second half so far…
Wycombe get possession, hoof it forward to nobody. Ipswich flood forward with lovely passing and dribbling, nobody challenges them.
Why have we abandoned the style of play that had us absolutely dominating the first 20 minutes?
Agree we have been really poor this half. Don't look ourselves at all.
I’d far rather have Grimmer on the right.
It’s like Ipswich have 15 men on the pitch.
Same
Yep
Do we get a refund for unused subs or something?
Nasty team this Ipswich
Grimmer struggled a bit at centre back with no cover and McCarthy looked like a good attacking option but he hasn't been great
What a save that was
Fantastic save by the Ipswich keeper
Panto time in the penalty box, get on with it chaps
Sniper took McCarthy out there.
He was cleared out by two of their players whilst trying to help one up off the ground.

And now we know where we are. Ipswich streets ahead of us. They tore apart our better players at will.
One to forget
Christ
One bad game doesn't suddenly mean we're not in the promotion mix.
Firmly second best here bar the first 20, good break til the next game. Will play worse teams and that's about the best you can say.
