I could live out my life and relax quite happily having trousered a meagre 150/200k per week before tax for a few years (Maybe 400k take home per month?) , Not sure what you have in your pension fund @Malone but that would make quite a difference to mine.
Of course they are eye watering amounts being offered out there even in comparison but at a guess I'd say him and his family were probably doing ok anyway.
But surely @Malone though he may not have commanded £700k a week here (though them numbers is not right according to Hendo) even a limited player as Henderson could have got himself a nice well paid billet in the Premier League or the Championship like Milner et al? This move makes his previous calls for inclusion and understanding redundant...surely he can see that?
Great to see that eventually our beloved Gasroom tends towards humour. However to spoil it slightly it would appear that Jordan Henderson has taken a third option:
3) Greedily hoover up the money and do a round of interviews, saying that Chris on the Gasroom shouldn't criricise me - he doesn't really understand me, or how to take care of the environment.
Moany weasels though we are...I think he's upset more people than just the Gasroom. And you're probably right, most people would probably jump at the chance of £700k a week without qualms but in this instance I would have more respect if he said, I'll say anything to make myself look good, but when it comes down to it I'll take money over everything if it's enough.
I find it hard to believe you have absolutely no scruples who pays you if it's enough @Malone
Been hearing rumours that some Gibraltar players are pushing to get Julio Ribas sacked as they've lost faith in his ultra-defensive management style (even against teams like San Marino). Nathan Rooney apparently fan favourite to take over if he goes.
L2 is having a madness. Gillingham have scored five and conceded five, Doncaster have scored five and conceded seven. Gillingham are top, Doncaster are bottom.
Madness in the Scunny vs Buxton game. Buxton were leading 2-1, plus they saved a stoppage time penalty… only for the game to be abandoned due to adverse weather with just 2 minutes of added on time remaining!
The outcome? The NL have ruled that the match must be replayed in full!
Reading the Buxton Twitter feed, they thought the final whistle had gone. The elation quickly turned to despair and it was actually sad to read. Scunthorpe should do the right thing but naturally they won’t (or can’t) - presumably if they forfeit it’ll be a 3-0 defeat and financial / points penalty.

Ah I thought you were meaning that he (being a rich person) could essentially pay zero tax in the UK, as per the Saudi arrangement.
Being the gasroom, I thought it was the usual Anti rich rhetoric 😂
Nah, just unsympathetic. I'm sure he can afford the tax too.

If you offered me 700k a week, or to be honest even 2k a week, i'd not give a donkey's ballsack what a bunch of moany forum weasels had to say 😁
What if you were David Wheeler and ‘Frackers R Us’ offered you £500k to promote their planned shale oil extraction in the South Downs?
His choices would be
1) Reject it and do the rounds of interviews proclaiming money isn't more important than principles
2)Greedily hoover the money up, but potentially save £10 for a t shirt saying "Chris from the gasroom don't like it...but I don't care"

I'd take 700k a week even if it was funded by you selling your satire
Most people lack much of a sense of self-awareness and I'd imagine most professional footballers are even worse than that.
If I could afford to pay anyone £700k a week...I would be posting this from my Yacht in Monaco.
Our Football Association.
Couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery 🤣

Wrexham go for an ageing Steve Fletcher instead of Brandon / the other guy they tried to buy. All a bit easier if you're minted.
Mellor doesn’t appear on the match day squad for Sutton. Poor kid has played 22 minutes in the five games since going there on loan.

Fleetwood's announcement of Lee Johnson as their new manager has gone well

Top scorers Swindon are only fifth.
And Swindon's top scorer - who might even be the top scorer in the league - is on loan from Bradford

That is complete madness, Scunny should be embarrassed really, but wont
The ref sounded like an almighty jobsworth

Ref should be demoted, completely ridiculous.
What weather caused it to be abandoned?! Surely play could have been suspended and they come out when the conditions improved?
It suddenly absolutely pissed it down - the fronts of the stands were basically flooded - but the pitch didn't seem unplayable for 2 minutes...
Seems like a decision was made too quickly.....
Shame Bristol Rovers weren't playing Scunny!
Trying to think of a reason on earth that Southgate would not give Eze a start in a friendly, and coming up short.
Our midfield should be Rice-Bellingham-Eze and it's not even close with Mount out injured
