Have a feeling I have may have beaten my previous 10th best this time round - doubt it will have an impact on the movers and shakers at the top though @railwaysteve!

I believe all the ten closest forecasters for the Doncaster game all registered a 'counting' score. So there are a number of significant changes.

I have altered the main spreadsheet and your overall score on that remains unaltered. Your unblemished record for forecasting will show up on the next leaderboard.
All readers - I am totally impressed with the gasroom for the way people pick up on the errors and point them out so politely. I am going to argue that a small number of errors are inevitable. I might try and make the overall spreadsheet accessible with a link next season which will make it easier for individuals to check. Also I will try and improve my checking routines especially for missing posts.

The Sheffield Wednesday Home Game [Actual attendance 9005]
Game of the season so far as this competition is concerned - many players at their very best, a very tight end to the season set up and record numbers there. What is not to like. I have even taken proper enjoyment out of doing the final spreadsheet for this one.
There was some sort of magical attraction about the number 9000, for very understandable reasons, and the predictions were outstanding.
Many congratulations to @peterparrotface for missing the actual attendance by just one person with a prediction of 9006, Forecaster of the Week, a personal best score and a leap of seven places up the table.
Six other forecasters at the top of their game recorded personal bests - @floyd equalled his and climbed one place to 5th, @manboobs set a new one [4] and climbed six places to 6th and @micra [5]also set a new one and climbed back into the top ten at 7th.
The other three to gain Sheffield Weds (h) as a new best prediction were @BSE, @thedieharder and @Cecil.
There were six other forecasters who recorded top ten scores, so more than half of those who made a forecast improved their score for the season. Remarkable considering the late stage of the season. Notably @wwfcblue in 2nd place has an improved score with a new 6th best prediction of the season - [38]
The playoff places for the close of the regular season are very hotly contested. Everyone down to @BSE in 14th is within reach of at least 6th if the forecasts go right.
So tight is the middle section around the score of 60 that @Commoner achieved a fourth best score of the season moved from a overall score above 60 to one below and still dropped three places in the table.
I just hope I am close enough on Saturday to reach a best ten average of under one hundred. Congratulations are due to @bigred87 for reaching that milestone.

In seventh place (just outside the playoff positions) going into the last game - you record a new 7th best performance of the season in the final game of the regular season which is just enough to go up one place into 6th. What is even more Wycombe is that it was done your way with a prediction which was not ordinary or run of the mill. We have all had moments of brilliance this season but last day of the season is the Wycombe way.
So congratualtions to @micra who was Forecaster of the Week for the Burton game and 'made it into the playoffs' on the last day.
Most of us were a bit out so the Leaderboard remains mostly the same.

Also there will be a rule to close the competition for if either game is declared a sell out by either clubs official media. I guess that is not so likely for the game at mk.
I will do a summary of the season whenever it ends for us.

I must say I was amazed to come so close in the playoff final, when the potential range of guesses could have been huge. Will be interesting to see how our attendances hold up next season. I'm guessing with the very early start to the season, that the first few games may have relatively low crowds, but hopefully the numbers will pick up as the season progresses. Derby (takeover permitting), Sheffield W, Oxford, MK, Ipswich, Pompey, Bolton, Plymouth, Bristol R, and Charlton should all bring decent numbers, and hopefully the subscription system will boost our season ticket sales. Let's hope we can sign whoever we need to during the window, and put together another promotion bid. COYB!!

@DJWYC14 was spot on with the attendance for the franchise home game - 7345
@wwfcblue was the first to predict that the original Bolton away game would be called off and also recorded a best of season zero score.
@Forest_Blue (Cambridge away), @DevC (Portsmouth home), @a40 (Cambridge away), @peterparrotface (Sheffield Wednesday home) and @SmiroludyBlue (Sunderland home) all missed the correct prediction for the match by just one person.
I notice that only @NewburyWanderer was able to better my ten predictions within 65, and took six more games to do it. So I'm claiming victory on PPG!
In all serious Steve, thank you so much for your work over the last season, it's been lots of fun.
Thanks @railwaysteve for the write-up and for keeping this competition going game after game. Adds an extra dimension to the season, and credit to you for the work you must put into it. I must say I was amazed to come so close in the playoff final, when the potential range of guesses could have been huge. Will be interesting to see how our attendances hold up next season. I'm guessing with the very early start to the season, that the first few games may have relatively low crowds, but hopefully the numbers will pick up as the season progresses. Derby (takeover permitting), Sheffield W, Oxford, MK, Ipswich, Pompey, Bolton, Plymouth, Bristol R, and Charlton should all bring decent numbers, and hopefully the subscription system will boost our season ticket sales. Let's hope we can sign whoever we need to during the window, and put together another promotion bid. COYB!!
