More worrying if you are a Clchst*r "fan" surely. Let's be clear it's their cretins being escorted into the train station - can't see any evidence of Wycombe fans here.
As for the above, dreadful scenes. But while we're often quick to pour scorn on our goons, it's pretty clear Col U have a lot themselves, and probably of a more threatening level.
@Malone not so sure. I think you will find that today Colchester got what some had come for, thing is they were out numbered and from the accounts I've heard sent home with tails between there legs. I wasn't at the game today. Certainly ugly scenes. I don't think that it will ever be different for this fixture. Just moves on to another generation.

Micra - having been punched on our own terracing by Infiltrating others on that fateful day . Along with having the supporters coach invaded at "layer dump road" and again punches thrown at me - I feel my dislike for "them" is totally justified .
As for "Welcome aboard" - I joined over a year ago . But thank you . It's nice to be aboard.
Having supported wycombe since our non league days and had the pleasure of witnessing our fa trophy wins , Carlisle away on our 1st ever league game - midweek visits to Oldham, bury etc. Enjoying the delights of hartlepool and Gateshead. My days of being able to visit every week are sadly gone . I now live in Sussex and my job takes me out of the country every week - to that point I'm currently writing this in the Gambia in West Africa.
However my dislike for "them" will never fade . And I'm proud to say that.
Football is built on rivalries . Without these the game would not be the same . I would love to have the chance of playing slough town away in the fa cup - a great rivalry .We need this "extra spice" to make certain afternoons that bit more memorable . It's what separates this game from us playing the likes of Accrington Stanley ( no disrespect intended ) this afternoon . We have our fair share of "regular" games - so to have a game like today is one of our stand out games of the season is the exception and one we should enjoy and treasure - and it's all down to the rivalry . Likewise Micra , Liverpool fans I'm quite sure will look forward to the visit of Man United far more than they would the visit of Bournemouth. Purely because of the rivalry and dislike of each other. That's what makes our game what it is . As long as we don't cross the lines , which unfortunately "they" did frequently .
Micra - I follow your excellent postings on the gasroom and can only bow to your superior knowledge of what goes on around the club . I truly value your views as i do all the other contributors .
I'm not in the privileged position to comment on the games I attend as they are sadly few and far between - so out of respect to those that watch week in week out, I've held back on parting with my wisdom on my last 2 visits ( Preston at home Swindon away ) - both of which performance wise have been - let's politely say "disappointing" .
So I do Micra , take your comments a little to heart - I tried to put my posting across in an adult way without using bad language , whilst trying to get across my dislike for "them" and my love for our team .
Please accept my apologies if my posting was too strong and it caused offence.
No need to apologise. You seem to have been subjected to misguided “treatment” in the past. I’ve been lucky perhaps in never having been caught up in any hooliganism.
It was very sad (and it will ultimately be very costly) to witness such a large police presence in the town, around the stadium and at various points in between.
I have to agree that longstanding rivalry between clubs adds to the atmosphere - it certainly did today! - but, sadly, there is a minority whose behaviour is perceived, perhaps correctly, to require what seemed to be a disproportionately large police presence. Public expressions of hatred on social media (including this forum) inevitably encourage this perception.
I owe you an apology re the “welcome aboard” comment. I saw that you had joined in January 2017 and forgot that we are now in 2018!

Just a follow on to all those who were again calling for Ainsworths head after last week. I’d love to hear what you’ve got to say after that?????
Can you remind us who on this board has been calling for Gareth Ainsworth's head over the last week?
Well, what a difference a week makes. A great game, end to end, passion, getting into the other team, good passing, loads of effort and a great all round team performance. The Bean lookalike was fantastic and if only that shot had gone in.....the other loanee got better as the game went on and certainly if we can play like that every week or as close as possible, we do have a chance of sneaking that third place.....Now would any of the "drones" on here like to give me a "handbagging" over those comments?

@eric_plant .Interestingly Luke Onien says he appreciated the terrace keeping the ball in his post match interview . Maybe you should try not to be such a stick in the mud ?
Not really sure that context or humour are really that important. The actions of the crowd were moronic and should have been condemned not laughed about. I understand Luke wants to keep on crowd onside and the question probably shouldn't have been asked but the club as a whole has to stop our reputation being dragged through the gutter.
It put an unnecessary blot on a great day. If the club can use CCTV to spot those with flares hopefully they'll pick up those holding the ball. Name them.
Back to the game though. For me it turned on the two point blank headers. One nicely placed in Browns midfift and the other just to the side of the keeper and in the goal. It settled our defence a bit and gave us the confidence to attack more. CMS was outstanding and both loaners played well. O'Nein a deserved man of the match.
Why @James ? Explain to me why delaying the restart of the game is anything other than moronic behaviour? Copying the Col U morons simply makes it even worse. Not even original idiocy.
@ Right_in_the-Middle . The ball keeping probably was a bit immature but it was in the context of a game against old foes and I would be astonished if I saw it again . You suggest Onein was lead into making the comment to keep the crowd onside but if you listen to the interview he was not .He was not asked about the incident in particular and he included it in praise for how vocal the crowd had been. He even suggested it "gave them a breather". I personally take issue with a lot of people on here who try and demonize the "group" behind the goal and try and make them something they are not . I stand in the terrace and we are talking about 20 teenagers who at worst are boisterous . The 3-4 games before yesterday had an awful atmosphere and I had observed during these games the "group" were not in attendance . They were yesterday and the noise from the terrace was a credit to the club . At the final whistle the manger applauded the terrace first , as did Bayo . They did this because it was the terrace in particular who created an atmosphere which undoubtedly aided the players . People suggesting on here that these youngsters should be named if spotted on CCTV is just laughable . Too many on here trying to suggest we have a yob element when we do not in my opinion . I am 47 and I appreciate the charged atmosphere the youth bought to the terrace yesterday as It helped us win and it was "electric" . Immature with the ball keeping ? maybe .Disgrace to the club ? get a life in my opinion .
Yep, whilst there are clearly worse crimes and I wouldn't want anyone banned for it, it was irritating for fans and players alike. Had Colchester managed to pull another goal back, the time added on because of it would have been a whole lot more than irritating!
Poor old Luke, 20 mins after the game had finished and still clearly buzzing, made a jokey response about how good it was to get a breather while the terrace holding the ball.
Those little interviews in the bar are a really nice touch (especially for the kids). It’s a bit harsh to call a player an idiot for an unguarded comment - it’s not like he said ‘let’s run ‘em out of town lads’ or suchlike.
I know it’s hypocritical but anything that winds that awful club up is find by me.

@malone mine was scrawny mid height wearing 2 ear rings. Also tight black jeans and woollen wwfc hat pulled tight on his head.
@malone surely we can sort this before it gets totally out of hand.
I’m normally of the view that all publicity if good publicity. However, this is not good at all:
While it is only a small minority of so-called supporters involved, it creates a very disappointing impression.
More worrying if you are a Clchst*r "fan" surely. Let's be clear it's their cretins being escorted into the train station - can't see any evidence of Wycombe fans here.
@woodlands, he sounds quite the character.

Thanks, Phil. Great listening. Captured the Moore run really well!
This is brilliant, thanks Phil!

@eric_plant .Interestingly Luke Onien says he appreciated the terrace keeping the ball in his post match interview . Maybe you should try not to be such a stick in the mud ?
Did he? What an idiot
A bit unnecessary
Yes I heard that from onien. I thought it was funny
Very unfair comment as you weren’t there to hear the context of his remark or see him smiling as he said it.
Not really sure that context or humour are really that important. The actions of the crowd were moronic and should have been condemned not laughed about.
