Watching the Forest v Derby match I found out Matty Cash started as a youth at Wycombe. I think it's fair to say a few years ago that would not even have merited a mention...
Mrs W buying a package to get the Sky Movies had the footy thrown in as a sweetener which means I will be able to watch the Tranmere game on Sunday despite it being disgraceful fixture manipulation ignoring the wishes of the fans and trampling all over the fine traditions of the game. I am torn.
I'm not torn, I went on Saturday and was frozen! Also, on the return I managed to follow a spurious satnav instruction on the M56 and then got lost and added 30 min to the journey! Should be ok in front of the telly on Sunday though.?
I recall a young black lad threading through a killer pass from not too far into the opposition half towards the terrace end and I think his parent club was Brentford. I might be able to confirm his name if I saw it (but it’s nowhere near the tip of my tongue at present, I’m afraid). But I do remember being surprised that the club seemingly lost interest.
Billy Knott sent off for poor tackle, for Chelmsford City in their 6-2 home defeat to Oxford City, whose Danny Rowe scores a 12 minute hat-trick in the first half.
It's a shame about Billy, this is what GA said after his debut in the 2-2 draw with Oxford United in 2013: "Billy Knott had an immense debut. He has energy, passion, drive, everything that I like in a player, and on top of that he's got Premiership quality with his left foot."

Cheating a bit here, but former trialist Danny Parish scored and was sent off for Maldon & Tiptree in their win at Leyton Orient.

We’re big time now.
Matt who?
Only remember Stuart.
Matty Cash is Stuart Cash, ex loanee FB, son.
That’s right @DevC . 12 games on loan from Forest in 1991.
For a moment @DevC I thought you were addressing me in the same way as @Malone does . It was the missing possessive apostrophe that threw me.
Yes, I had to read it a few times before I worked out that @DevC wasn’t saying they were the same person, son.
Nice one, son. (At least no one can call me son.)
Sorry @Chris . You just did. Too much glossing.
I’d better go before I get even sillier.

Check the boiler @ValleyWanderer.
I do, son.
And I'm spending increasing amounts of time getting your negatives back to neutral.
Sometimes I have to dip into my array of dummy accounts.
Thanks @Malon. I’ve learnt to live with them! At least with FB you know who “likes”.
No worries @micr
Luke O’Nien sent off this evening against Scunny.
Josh Umera sent off for Ebbsfleet, meanwhile Elliot Benyon creates one goal and wins a penalty for Oxford City.
Talking of former Brentford loanees, who was the midfielder we had who made a couple of great cameo appearances and then we never saw him again?
Senior?
Although I don't remember him having much impact in fairness, so might not be who you mean.

Billy Knott?
One of those players we couldn't keep, to a few years later playing deep into non league.
I hadn't realised that Knott has had problems with depression and alcohol, article from last year:
https://www.echo-news.co.uk/sport/16218490.billy-knotts-battle-with-depression-the-best-way-to-deal-with-my-life-was-to-pass-out-through-drink/
That explains it then!

@micra - Jermaine Udumaga, maybe?
