Alex Pattison moving on from Harrogate after two years, having put up some decent numbers there. I always liked him, and I suspect he's a better player now. Matty will know him well, we've always liked an ex-player, and I can't imagine he'd be too expensive...
He scored a fair few goals for Harrogate early on in the season but then his run dried up for some reason,i'm just not sure he'd do well in League 1 which is different than scoring against teams like Rochdale,Hartlepool and Crawley.
No surprise that I’d be happy to see him back but I take the point @YorkExile that League 1 is a tougher proposition. Having said that, I still stubbornly stick to my contention that he was starting to show real promise until the red card at Dean Court. In the Championship, of course.
18 goals from midfield for Harrogate in 70 odd games is a tidy return. Still only 25.
We’ve been here before @Malone. We can never be sure that any given player has developed sufficiently since leaving to be able to return and successfully make the step up. That may well be the case with Al-Hamadi as well. Horses for courses of course and the course at Adams Park may now be in the course of changing a little. Never say never. Not after the near miracle of Curtis Thompson’s transformation when he joined us from Notts County.
He had a strange spell with us, almost scoring several times on his debut, actually playing minutes in the playoff final, appearing in the Champo, and killing us in the Bournemouth away game with that red card.
It goes to show the vagaries of sport, I suppose. I wish him nothing but the best - he seemed like a high character lad.
The almost scoring game was against a Bolton team of kids. That shouldn't be forgotten.
Should have scored a hatrick. Didn't.
And in the championship people were very worried at a midfield of him an aging Bloomfield etc. And rightly so. Until we got a few loanees in we were well off the pace.

Are you sure about this?
He featured in a mere 6 games in that championship season and were all in that first month or so where we were woeful.
Some at the time even suggesting we'd been caught out by the start of the season as we'd not brought anyone in, and started with a league 2 midfield.

Pattison is a bottom half League 2 player at best. I do not want to see us signing him.

Seconded

Eze with the opening goal for Palace today, at home to Bournemouth.
Now he's got his 2nd,2-0.

No keeper would stop that shot.
Luke Onion starts for Sunderland, Fred on the bench for Luton
Seen him make so many dirty challenges this season. That one with the elbow on Morris was nasty.
I didn't think that was him? Not surprised if it was, though.
I know he's enhanced his dirtbag game, but Onion is a harsh nickname.
I had no idea Luke Bolton was at Salford. Six goals this season apparently.
Enough to make your eyes cry.
I see an ex-Wanderers central defender is representing the UK at Eurovision tonight.
That was an eye watering challenge by Luke.
Sam Lavelle released by Charlton
No idea why he struggled at Charlton, but he ended this season on loan at Burton, where he barely played. A dodged bullet there perhaps.
Jamal blackman released by Exeter.
Many of you might have already known this, but Marcus Bean is currently the lead southern scout for Brentford.
