Maybe there needs to just be a hall of fame with various sculptures depicting major figures and moments. Gape pulling on his shirt for sheer joy after scoring against Chesterfield. Blooms and GA holding the L1 playoff trophy between them, etc.
Fascinating interview with Gaz. From 02:51 re the Wycombe owners 🙄 "...they were always saying, we want you to go, we want you to move on". That sounded different from the bit before about being pro him having a chance higher up.
Looking at the BBC Sports app covering Bristol City v Blackpool which was a lunchtime kick off. Anis getting good coverage in their live reporting of the game, very positive contributions being made to the team effort. Very pleased for him.
Gaz gets his first win at QPR, and lots of mentions on their forum of enthusiasm, team spirit, desire, organisation, dark arts, and him generally being a top bloke. 😢
Says it hurt a lot. Not sure how much he'll play, hope it doesn't affect him in later life, will be slower there but he was hardly moving anyway towards the end here.
Played a game in Norfolk in the 1980s and the opposition had a player who had won the FA Cup with Ipswich Town in 1978. I think he said he was working as a taxi driver and enjoying it. Different times.

Disappointing to see Akinfenwa promoting gambling as the star of Bet UK's latest radio ads.
That is disappointing.
It really is. Thought his eBay promotion might be enough.
Oh Bayo
Ben Strevens appointed manager of Dag & Red.

Bayo squatting O'Nien after scoring. Can't remember what game it was.
Early in the 2017/18 season, possibly the opening day at home v Lincoln. And at Vale away he acted out some wrestling move on him.
Keith Searle kissing his boot after the league winning goal v Dagenham.
(One for the kids…)
Wonderful iconic photo.
Anis on telly in a minute

And 03:38 Did Wrexham try to poach Gaz?!

Josh Umerah scores his 14th goal of the season for Hartlepool.
Has Kashket retired?
Stevenages 62% to 38% “advantage” has stood them in better stead than ours !!
I check their line-up every week and he has definitely disappeared the last month or so. Must simply be injured.
Doesn't look a successful season to say the least. Scraping against relegation and personally on about 2 or at max 3 goals.
That is the biggest contrast with GA’s approach so far.
They bought a load of new players, might be a victim of that
I bet you hadn't seen that coming.

Bayo? Really?
Started today in the 2-1 defeat at Lancing, subbed at HT.

He had a game for some other non league team a while back as well didn't he? Think he'd promised them.
Not sure what the advantage is in these little turnouts though. Wembley seemed the perfect venue to bow out.
Interesting moment involving Luke O'Nien today https://twitter.com/nocontextfooty/status/1634915576996048896
Hashtag United I think
That's it.
He could simply love playing, which is a valid reason. Especially if it's a level he can cruise around and not tax his long term weaknesses etc.
I remember turning up at a 5 a side indoor game once, and the opposition had an ex prem player.
In his 60s...

Oh and he was still rather good!
Remember when he bottled that header in the 6 yard box? They can have him.
