Agree to differ on Stewart’s passing. Whether by design and instruction or choice, his signature pass was a long, diagonal hoof from ten to twenty yards Wycombe’s side of the half way line. ‘The Wycombe Ball’ we used to call it as in, “Here comes another ‘Wycombe Ball’”.
Anthony Stewart is almost certainly going to get the chance to play in a Scottish League Cup semi, with Aberdeen 3-0 up at HT in the quarters. Two wins from silverware*.
(* = Rangers and Celtic are still in the competition, so might as well be 10 wins away).
A great few minutes of chat with a player that we were so blessed to have come into our world. A gentleman. An inspiration. Part of our history. You never realise how much you miss someone til they are gone. Make note anyone wishing a change at the top.
Tyla Dickinson seems to be doing OK at Hungerford - won MOM at the weekend.
I should be seeing him in the flesh in three weeks when Hungerford venture down to darkest Devon for an FA Trophy game. Big gap in quality between the two sides so he should have plenty of time to chat. Wonder if his shoelaces will keep getting untied if they are only one goal up in the closing stages.
Indeed, I think he made one appearance. I suspect he may end up dropping out of the league for now, unless Harrison fancies having him at Colchester maybe?

I thought Stewart's passing was very good, and I always thought he'd be Wycombe captain one day
So there you go

Another managerial casualty - Steve Claridge sacked by Salisbury.
You up and about now @DevC ? Certainly hope so.
Matt Phillips has scored for WBA at Reading.
Josh Umerah scored from Hartlepool again. Seems like he's having a decent season there.
Pattison also scored again for Harrogate in the same game.
Eze equalises v Wolves
Another managerial casualty - Neil Lennon sacked by Nicosia.
Failing to beat what used to be Man Utd clearly unacceptable
Southgate reportedly naming a 55-man provisional World Cup squad, so there's a fair chance it'll include Eze - and half the Gasroom.
Is there a purpose to a provisional squad? Just warning players they may be about to be very disappointed?
I don't know if the players even get told; it's not being made public.

How can you "Name a squad" then keep it private? Ludicrous.
Basically like saying Southgate has written 55 names in a book and then hidden the book.
I've been told Chris Forino-Joseph is named ...
Apparently the 55 man squad is for Visa purposes more than anything.
Ah, that makes much more sense thanks.
Sounds like a shortlist not a squad

Maybe we didn’t want to sign him in the summer because he didn’t pass the initial ‘Wycombe test’!
Paul Smyth with another goal for Orient.
Colchester United are bottom of the football league.
Bayo on channel 4 this morning, Sunday Brunch.

I think he’d make a really good Mehmeti replacement if Anis moves on in January, or even the summer. 7 in 15 for Paul so far this season.

Adam Pryzbek has been released by Walsall. Their fans don’t seem overly upset on Twitter, to say the least.
Arran Amadi-Holloway playing for Hereford v Portsmouth tonight in the FA Cup - as a centre back!
He only signed for them in the summer didn’t he?
