Re: Coventry City interest in Matt Bloomfield
Blooms says he hasn't heard anything from Coventry or the club. He says it's nice to be linked, but it's all about the players: if the players are playing well, you get linked with jobs higher up the leagues; if they're not, then you get tipped for the sack.
He is then asked about the Scott Mitchell departure and says, I thought quite diplomatically, that Mitchell did a great job, but the club has decided to go in a different, data-led direction. He might not be pleased but there was no public display of dissent.
Also, excellent work from Sam Avery, to ask the questions that @bluntphil is no longer allowed to ask.
Re: Match Day Thread: Wigan
Absolute scenes on the train to Manchester. Just got a hen party singing 'there's only one Matty bloomfield'
Re: Coventry City interest in Matt Bloomfield
Butcher and Lubala are both crucial members of our squad. Utter madness to even countenance the idea of sending them out on loan
Re: Coventry City interest in Matt Bloomfield
I doubt Butcher and Lubala will be going anywhere. Both key figures in Wycombe’s 18.
Re: The definitive ex-player news thread
Dale Taylor misses an open goal against Wycombe to help them go two points clear at the top of League One.
Re: Richard Kone, PFA Player of the Month
Hi guys thought I’d just pop in to give a view from outside on not just Kone but you lot generally. I watched your game against County the other night and you looked awesome, especially Kone who should have bagged at least a hat trick. He was outstanding but so were the whole team I thought. You looked bigger, stronger and way faster than Stockport and it’s no surprise you are where you are.
Obviously Morley and Sads are doing well for you and it’s causing many here to call for Aaron to come back to the Reebok in January. I can’t see it personally because he’d have even more competition here now but at least he can’t play against us when we meet. Until I actually watched you I thought you were probably in a false position but now I have seen you I think you could be the real deal this year so good luck to you and let’s hope both Wanderers go up this year. 👍😀
Re: Match Day Thread: Stockport
I've been around years, and I bang on about the O'Neill years and how amazing they were and I'm sure it's boring for fans who weren't even born then.
So those young fans especially, I'm talking to you: enjoy this, savour these moments, this is your golden era. This is the time you'll be banging on about in 30 years time.
You have to realise what a special moment this is and just try to savour it as much as you can and get to as many games as you can. I promise you, it won't always be this good, and that's ok. That's as much a part of being a football fan as anything this.
But this......this is very very special
Re: Half time ‘entertainment’
Don't really know why everyone is getting so grumpy about this
Just a bit of fun. I'm glad the club do this sort of thing.
Re: Match Day Thread: Bristol Rovers
Spent the afternoon in hospital waiting for results which would either mean I was ok or about to enter a world of shit. Results said I was ok. Went home to see Wycombe do a Wycombe and win in injury time. Celebrated like we'd won the world club championship. Choose life.
Re: Match day thread: Sheffield Wednesday
Even by your standards that’s one of the strangest posts I have ever seen on here. Max has been one of the finds of the seasons.
