True! And if Wycombe had a lifetime loyalty requirement despite employment elsewhere, we would not be helping Bristol Rovers stay up instead of Shrewsbury, because that would be hypocritical. 😁
@Malone No-one from Wrexham worth buying, strikers anyway. Fletcher's too old, Mullin's lost it, Palmer's never had it, Marriott's got a broken leg.
On the subject of Wrexham, I sense a bit of panic, desperation and maybe a bit of resignation around the Racecourse. Some fans starting to question Parky, and others saying 3 promos in a row was always unrealistic and their ageing yet hardworking squad will struggle to keep it going in the 2nd half of the season.
Personally I still think they will be a threat, as they have a high quality midfield and very strong home record, but it's interesting to see how a run of poor results has quickly spooked them.
It's a risky game rejecting £7m. If we genuinely don't need the money then the gamble is worth it.
But God forbid, and this is completely hypothetical, but say Kone picks up a bad injury tomorrow....we are a striker down, and a huge transfer fee down.
I think Kone can do better than Luton. I genuinely think he's destined for the prem.

1:57 from RK24 to Taylor. The ‘we’ is the important word. These vids are really good
Luton apparently signed alli from Exeter for £1.5m - instead of Kone ?!? Thoughts whilst crossing fingers..
Mr. Exeter my ar...oh wait.
If he was really Mr Wycombe he'd be trying to buy Wrexham and Huddo's best players to help us 🤣😎

I think we may help Shrewsbury with David Wheeler going there on loan in the next few days.
He's so rusty he'll be bringing them down from within.

We'd only be rejecting 4m, so even worse
They don't allow cars around the corner flags there anyway, only coracles.
Losing that home game will definitely have rattled them.
And they've played 4 more at home than away so that's big too.
However, while 6 points over them and 10 over Huddersfield with 1 game more played is superb, we know how quickly it can change.
That's why it's the old adage 1 game at a time.
And they've played 4 more at home than away so that's big too.
Great point. Wrexham have just 7 home games left - Orient, Bolton, Stockport, Rotherham, Burton, Bristol Rovers, Charlton.
At best, I think they'll win 4 of those...
Their away form is very mid-table.
I'll stop wishing away the season now... 😁
I think Stockport are the best team outside the top two, and we beat them 5-0 away, so...
