You’re probably right Brownie, looks like he’s staying put until the end of the season but certainly for the January window unless of course the wheels really come off. I don’t see that, I think we’ll continue to hover around the top six and as long as that happens and there’s still a chance of promotion Sharon will stick with Evatt. You do have to commend her loyalty as not many owners would stick with a man who has now failed 3 times to achieve her stated aim of promotion. I suspect though that if he fails again thus time he’s definitely a gonner. As I’ve said before, I don’t see us recalling Morley back to play in January. More likely Evatt will sell him either to yourselves or someone else to raise funds for replacements. Of course he may have a Damascene conversion and decide to change his systems to accommodate Aaron but with the size of his ego I’d say that’s unlikely. If he’s not coming back to us I hope you buy him and he continues to do well for you. 😉
I too have that problem as well @micra, I wonder if @drcongo or some other IT expert can offer a solution. Preferably in simple terms so that us less IT competent persons can make sense of it?
At the top right of the page, under 'Quick Links', you will see the heading 'Drafts', which will show any posts you have created but not yet posted.
If you click there, you can click on the X to delete a draft, and it will then disappear. This works on a laptop, not sure if it does on a mobile phone as I never use one for posting here.
Evatt interview indicating they know what's the plan with Morley from Jan, seems he is on his way back...he will do it just in spite..horrible human he is...Rice get the cheque book out and sign him!
Midfield is definitely going to be an area to strengthen in January. West Brom fans seem a little too sure of Taylor going back too, which would not be fun for us.
It all depends if Bolton haul him back Jan 1st or not. That'd be disastrous as we've got 4 home games over about 8 days, so that alone is quite a significant spell.
Worth pointing out that Aaron Morley is unable to play for any club other than Wycombe or Bolton this season under league rules (he played in the League Cup for Bolton in August).
I'm of the belief that any chance we have of ultimately challenging for automatic promotion come the end of the season hinge on whether Aaron Morley is playing for us on February 1st. He's that important to our team.
Tonight showed we need Scowen and or Morley, preferably and. Bakinson did a great job and has forced his way into the reckoning again.
My point is that we have a need for that role. If we procrastinate on Morley’s transfer throughout January that’s five games, mainly tough games. If we want him go after him immediately we get the fax from Bolton asking for him back. If not move on and find another player to do that breakup role. Leahey can’t Butcher can’t (anymore?).
last night proved that leahy is not the answer , come across as a brilliant human but feels he adds very little , cannot dictate play , not a great tackler, does not have the physical presence or Bakinson or the engine of Josh , his FKs are so 1 dimensional , if we have to rely on Luke as a starter , we will move down that table ....Luke is a mid table CM not one that challenges for the top end of the league
Will be interesting to see if Morley plays in the upcoming fixtures. If Bolton are going to recall him (I'm sure these discussions have already been taking place) then I don't see we'd be gaining anything fielding a player who knows he'll be playing for one of our promotion rivals in a week's time. If he's plays at Stevenage and Charlton, that to me would suggest Bloomfield is confident he's here for the season at least.
Not so sure about this tbh. If we want to win every game, we'd want our best side on the pitch. Our best side includes Morley, so to leave him out of games he could play in would seem mad to me.
I wouldn’t be surprised if it was Richard Kone. There’s a real buzz around hun outside of HP12 and I fear Dan Rice will be dealing with more than one bid next month.

Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of the party.
Sorry about that. I’d written something that I regretted but once it’s in the Comment box it won’t go away however many times you delete it.
The scenes if the one on the left turns out to be Bargey.

Great advice @bargepole. On mobile the "Quick Links" section shows at the bottom of the page (at least it does for me anyway!).
I had a dream last night that we have already done a deal to sign Morley and that we announced it at half time tonight.
Thanks for that @bargepole I can now post on a few threads more than before🙈
Brilliant @bargepole, even I could follow that!! Thanks very much. 😊

Hopefully the plan is sell him to us for 100k.
If ML wishes to buy then I suspect it might go to the death at the end of January.

Now that sounds a big problemo too, for some reason I'd not even given a second thought to that.
I found this quote interesting:
“I am wondering if he will give them a good steer on us, I certainly haven’t asked him the question because that is not the right thing to do!”
Said tongue in cheek no doubt but tell me you know the player isn’t enjoying his time at Bolton without telling me.

That's good news as I heard tonight that Birmingham were sniffing around Morley
We need to go all out for his signature.

If we don’t get Morley, there are other fish in the sea and I am sure Matt and Dan have alternative targets.

I think loan players can only be recalled by mid-January.

Paul Heckingbottom (PNE manager) was there last night - wonder who he was scouting?

Probably someone from Bolton, their neighbours.
Taylor.
