I think this will be a tough one, winnable of course, but I'm sure Burton will be going all out to get their first victory. Like most of the lower teams in this division, they're not getting thrashed and conceding lots, just getting edged out. A draw tonight would be ok, if we can maintain our winning home form on Saturday. Would be lovely of course to get a win!
Very excited. Every season I seem to claim that Burton are the worst side I’ve seen come to Adams Park. This season they’re winless so they could be even worse!
I would imagine a number of changes tonight given the trend of not being able to play 3 games in a week nowadays. Pattenden, Skura, Bakinson, Leahy, Kodua and Kone may all be included I reckon who didn’t start on Saturday.
That makes total sense. Any unexpected faltering, plenty of exciting options from the bench.
I share the (statistically unjustified) slight reservations about Franco Ravizzoli in goalmouth melees and there must be a temptation to give Shamal George a runout but it’s a fine balance and could run the risk of undermining Franco’s confidence.
To be fair to @ryan_w_kirkby2 and @manchesterchairboy you went to three very difficult aways and home against the team who will stroll the league. So you basically picked the four most difficult fixtures of the season (unavoidable based on your location, of course).
Hopefully it's just a matter of going to more forgiving games now - safe travels to you and yours!
I'm even more confident of a win now we aren't going. He come home from school yesterday and they said he had a bug so not to come in for 48hrs. He's been fine allday and then vomited twice just as we were about to leave.
Hopefully we'll be fine for Stockport and Wigan away in a couple of weeks.

On WanderersTV, Sky Sports+ and NOW.
What gives first? Our impressive form, or the curse of me going to games? Tune in tonight to find out
Sky Sports+ again? Crikey. Be lucky to top 2,000 tonight then. Unreal.
I just spotted @drcongo hovering.
Anyone else really excited to watch us play again?
Definitely but be alert to the challenging situation over the next four matches described in my post a few minutes ago on the Calendar Year thread.

That's why I'd love to go, when I wouldn't normally be overly bothered by a Tuesday game in Burton. We're so exciting to watch right now!
Tricky games coming up for Birmingham and Wrexham.
Win tonight and we could go into the weekend with a chance to go top of the league.

I've took Ellis to 4 out of the 10 games so far this season.
Wrexham away lost 3-2
Birmingham home lost 3-2
Blackpool away drew 2-2
Barnsley away drew 2-2
As we all know we've won the other 6 games.
90% sure we're going later, just got to make sure he's OK. Weather doesn't look bad either.
Exactly the same as me! I've been to the same four as Ellis. Something has to change today, surely
I think we might rotate a bit tonight. Leahy and Kone to come into the team after their performances off the bench? Perhaps Butcher too.

Very much in a take a point territory here. Old habits die hard.
It's their cup final....
This is as banana-skinny as they come.
COME ON YOU BLUES!

Must win game!

Get positive son!
Interesting team - I'm hoping Kodua scores his first goal for us tonight.
Plenty of reinforcements (as always) if we need a push in the last half hour too.
Loving the pace options in that attack - both to start with and then off the bench.
Also pleasantly surprised that Lubala is fit.
Interesting that Wheeler, Hartridge, Pattenden and Bakinson don’t make the bench. Not sure if I’ve missed a few injuries in the above.
Anyway, great lineup. Great spine and a perfect opportunity for the wide players to prove themselves.
With Bishop, Tafazolli, Sadlier, Vokes and Hanlan all injured too! McCarthy is another not involved either.
Sadlier too.
Sadlier still missing but what a squad we have now.
Actually, it's mental when you think of the players not involved as well... what a squad ! Just need to keep them all happy
Lot to like in that team, always a dangerous thought
