TNS sell their top striker to Saudi Pro League club for £190k. This is a bit of a game changer as, so far, it's only been players from the top levels going to Saudi.
I hope so… I seem to remember having a bet with @bargepole on here that they would rear their ugly head up again soon and it’s rare I get anything right
The quoted article is full of words like 'could' and 'if', and is mainly speculation.
The biggest stumbling block is the £95m that Wasps owed, mainly to rugby-related creditors, when they went bust, and I can't see the RFU just letting them write that off, and step back straight into the second tier. If they ever do get going again, it's more likely to be in the minor Kent leagues.
Making a second visit to the Spencer Stadium, Banbury this afternoon.
Goalless at half-time between third (Banbury United) and first (Stamford) in the Southern League Premier (Central). The home side should be leading but saw a first half penalty saved by Stamford goalkeeper Tom Jackson.
Entertaining contest in front of a decent crowd of c. 700.
Absolute shambles at the end of Gibraltar vs Liechtenstein. Gibraltar thought they'd won it in the 6th of 9 mins added time when James Scanlon scored, but then in the 13th minute the ref awards a penalty to Liechtenstein for "handball" (it hit the guy's sleeve on his short sleeved shirt) which Liechtenstein converted in the 104th minute to secure a 2-2 draw.
I will say James Scanlon looks very good for Gibraltar vs Liechtenstein, got MOTM for his performance and is adapting well to the highly physical appproach to lower level international football. He'd probably be a good loan signing if the opportunity arises and Bloomfield decides another attacking mid/winger is needed.
Man City have launched a 'fourth' kit today in conjunction with Noel Gallagher, with the photoshoot done at Bonehead's house and modelled after the Definitely Maybe album cover. I wonder what their motive for this was, because they certainly didn't need a fourth kit...
MK captain Alex Gilbey on their 3-0 defeat at the Dons today (from MK Citizen).
"I'm sick of coming into games and as players, lacking desire, lacking a want to win, wanting to run. We did it for 20 minutes in the second-half, but I feel like we keep repeating ourselves.
It's a rivalry. They HATE us, and they're winning every first ball, every second ball. They are so desperate to win and to beat us, and they deserved it and it hurts to say that. I feel sorry for the fans to travel all this way, for them to have to go through what they go through over and over again, every day on social media, and then we show up like that? It's disappointing. That's down to us to correct that.
To a man, we were so poor. We're waiting for someone else to do something. It's one of the biggest games of the season, not just for us, but for the club, the fans.
It's about wanting to win and fighting for what you stand for. They've done that today in abundance, and we were like rabbits in the headlights waiting for something to happen. If we keep doing that, we'll keep going away from home and losing, nothing will change. It's about growing a pair and saying this won't happen again, and again and again.”

Steve Bruce appointed manager of Blackpool.
Good kebabs up there
If only a week sooner. They would have been stodgy and unadventurous.
This is going to go well.
The pests are now looking to infest Charlton...

This is a long way from a fait accompli.

You are a spoilsport. Let a person dream….
(Albeit I actually hope you are right and I am wrong. I would really hate them to abuse the system and get back to their former ‘glories’)
Congratulations to San Marino on their first ever competitive victory

I watched the last 10 minutes or so. They celebrated like they had won the World Cup, it was brilliant to see.

Portugal v Scotland is on ITV4 and ITVX this evening, if anyone is interested.

I saw that wondered how you were. Football is never dull!
HT Portugal 0 Scotland 1
FREEDOM!!!!!
Didn't help that Gibraltar missed a pen earlier. Bartolo won it, he should have taken it. Liam Walker let his ego get to him.
Decent game from Scotland and certainly frustrated Portugal

AFC Wimbledon 3 - 0 MK, you love to see it.
a fourth kit getting ready for playing in the fourth division
Ainsworth for Bolton?
Chem Campbell getting absolutely slated by Reading fans
We could have told them!
But why would we 😂
Seriously, I hope the young lad does ok for them, as long as we beat them home and away.
ColU concede two in injury time to draw 3-3 with Morecambe. Morecambe hadn't scored in the league before today.
