Bromley now 2-0 up in their first ever EFL game at Hayes Lane, leading AFC Wimbledon who they lost to in midweek. Get the sense they may not have been all that bothered with the League Cup, just wanted to go all in on the league to make sure they're safe first.
They play very direct, not very pretty to look at but gets results. Something Wycombe will be familiar with historically but sometimes that's what you need.
One of the benefits of being housebound is the opportunity to watch “far too much” football on TV.
I watched the last quarter of an hour of the Sunderland match - what a joy to watch they are - and I’m now watching the match between Brentford and Crystal Palace - two of my favourite clubs.
I see that Steve Evans pleaded guilty to his misconduct charge and will start a month-long touchline ban on Saturday. Will be sad not to see him in the dugout for some Tommy Doherty style interaction.
Niggling thought that we don't yet have the measure of our ownership, Matt B is not "their man" and I just wonder whether if we lose the next couple of matches, it might give the new ownership the excuse to bring in their own man??
Given everything they have said and the way they appear to have engaged with Matt I doubt they would act like that, perhaps if we go on a losing streak like last season but not for losing to the 2 money bags teams & a side relegated from the Champ

Might as well be hanged for a sheep as a lamb
PNE’s manager left after the first game of the season. Now PNE’s caretaker manager has left after his first game. What’s going on there?
The answer to my question is ‘Peter Risdale.’
A bet with Watford?
Correct. Our Preston brothers and sisters know more about sheep and lambs than anyone.
Our Leeds brothers and sisters are just stupid
Do Preston (94) know about 'cheer up girls on benches?
I went to that game on Tuesday. Bromley played pretty well and could easily have come away with a win.
An even game where Wimbledon’s league experience was the noticeable difference between the sides.
Bromley might just do very well this season, play off dark horses for me.
Sunderland not doing too badly
Some kit clash at Truro v Dorking last week, resolved by wearing shirts inside out.

Seems astonishing that nobody - not even the referee - could predict predominantly orange shirts and predominantly red shirts would clash!
I'd jokingly suggest maybe the referee was colour blind?
I see Gaz is in the Sky studio, commenting at half time in the Bolton v Wrexham game.
Commentators’ nightmare.
Wrexham’s draw at Bolton (featuring Forino as an unused sub by the way @Malone ) put a slightly different spin on our defeat last week.

It's amusing, because their forum has been in absolute meltdown for about a year, so to be this (initially) successful is awkward.
No doubt we've reserved two seats for him to take his place in the main stand. One for each cheek.
He will serve it in their pizza game tonight I believe
I was going to say that's a fitting competition.
Then realised it's not been called that for ages.
Surely just a sign that all their whining has now worked 😀
Blackpool have 'relieved Neil Critchley of his duties.'
Richard Keogh given the interim role
Football really is going mad.

Nah
I imagine a loss to Rotherham this Saturday will have a few people baying for a change. Don't think they'll get it.
I wouldn't be so sure, I'd thought the same thing myself
