It's a shame it's all he's known for in the UK as none of it was his fault and he's actually achieved a fair amount since, for a kid who was abandoned as a baby and grew up homeless. Can't begrudge him his career.
Tjay on the scoresheet again as Lincoln beat Manchester 62 10-1. Opponents had several of their U17 squad starting and could only name 4 subs - 2 of whom were goalkeepers (one from the U17s) and both came on as outfielders.
Manchester 62 are in a lot of financial trouble right now as their owner blew all his money on big name signings in the summer and once the money dried up they all tore up their contracts and left.
Do you think Tjay will stay out there or will he be looking for a move to a (possibly) better quality league in the summer, whether that’s England or somewhere else in Europe? I know next to nothing about Gibraltarian football so not sure what the vibe is really
Wouldn't be surprised if he explored his options this summer. If Lincoln get to the Conference League groups again he'll probably stay for that but I reckon he still has ambition to play abroad. Especially considering the level of players coming through in his positions (James Scanlon at Man Utd, Liam Jessop at Chesterfield [linked with EFL clubs], Carlos Richards at Derby County, Jaiden Bartolo probably going to Wycombe...)
As well as Much Binding in the Marsh, weekends on the Home Service (now Radio 4) - or was it the Light Programme (now Radio 2) - also included such delights as the Billy Cotton Bandshow, Take it from Here, Ray’s a Laugh (comedian Ted Ray) and a show (on radio unbelievably) featuring a ventriloquist dummy called Archie Andrews. The latter may have been closer to @Twizz’s era.

Or Bebe Daniels Lyon (as in Life with the Lyons) a radio sitcom in the ‘fifties which probably only @wingnut would recall.

Hasn’t worn well.
I mean he's had a solid career in La Liga and a very decent AFCON a few months back so he hasn't done too badly with his career.
In fairness, that whole transfer was a bit sus. Supposedly a favour to his agent for helping get Nani out of a doping ban.

Eze scores for Palace against West Ham
Our radio broke during the war, and my parents told me it couldn't be repaired.
Every Monday I went to a school friend's house to listen to Tommy Handley in ITMA.
That's the earliest radio memory I have of radio comedy.
There are some on here who won't know what ITMA means, 😉.
In the Middle Ages?
Come on, everyone knows that one.
Instantly taking medicine anally
Try "It's that man again".

Stockdale leaves York City
His choice or theirs?

I mean no disrespect at all to Stocko - I love the guy. However, giving him a recruitment role was an absolutely bizarre decision.
There's only one person on here who will know that Much Binding In The Marsh was a popular comedy.
Depending on how long it took @wingnut’s parents to repair the radio, I’d say there are at least two of us. It was excellent.
Much Binding came along after ITMA. The broken radio never got mended but new ones became available.
You can watch Much Binding on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fu44j-ZUKNU
I'm a younger generation - The Navy Lark & The Clitheroe Kid on a Sunday lunchtime followed by Family Favourites is a lasting childhood memory.
When I was in short trousers I used to love the Flowerpot Men
I loved Weed.

Educating Archie. That was it. Utter crap.
'Twas before my time @micra.
Educating Archie ended February 1960, I wouldn't even have been one (although I was born in the '50's - the 1950's, before anyone says).
Yes, those and Round the Horne. Essential listening while Mum made Sunday lunch.
Lol Taylor gives away a penalty.
His one and only assist for us (as someone on the Matchday thread wittily wrote at the time).
