With no disrespect to the earlier players, saying "Keogh-Boyes-Breckin-Taylor" conjures up such different memories to saying "Butcher-Lubala-Lonwijk-Kone". What a good January it was! Well done Blooms and team for turning the season around with an excellent transfer window!
There was definitely something there with Breckin. I thought he looked pretty good against Cardiff pre-season (as did Boyes) but every game he seemed less confident and less involved.
Of all the loanees at the start of the season he looked like the only one (bar Potts) who was ready for league 1. He seemed to fall by the wayside with us and then plummet with Fleetwood. It's a hard life as a young player but again is further proof that the academy system is not churning out consistent talent.
I dunno. His head was all over the place. Like an under 11 on Haribo. Ill disciplined in football terms and self control. Had some skills but you would hope so too given his ability international status.
It gets tougher now though, final 5 games are in the Top 6 shootout. While Europa Point, Mons Calpe and Manchester 62 are way behind the top 3 of Lincoln Red Imps, St Joseph's and FCB Magpies, Europa Point have been a considerably tricky team to break down with their defence containing Falkeborn (ex-Lillestrom), Johan Andersson (ex-Öster when they were in the Allsvenskan) and Tyler Garratt (ex-Bolton/Doncaster/Stockport/Wimbledon).

I agree - and we have needed more LB options ever since he left!
i thought he showed a hesitancy to get stuck in at times

I do feel sorry for Breckin. Possibly the poster child for why the academy system is so flawed.

For City to give him a contract until 2027 he must have shown a fair amount of potential.
Alex Samuel starts for Caley at home to Raith Rovers tonight. On BBC Scotland/iPlayer at 7:45.
Killian Phillips looked a very good player to me, he just needs to find a role.

Needs a mentor more than a coach.
True - it was very hard to determine what position he should play, too. He seems built like an Aussie rules player.
Wasn't Breckin injured for a period hence his stats being low or am I imagining that?
Tjay De Barr (Lincoln Red Imps, Gibraltar): 10 apps, 751 mins, 6 goals, 7 assists
Cheers! 1.3 goal involvements per game is not bad going!
Not sure what this is but…

Skura starting at CB for Ebbsfleet in the big National League relegation game on TNT. Boreham Wood need to win or they're down.
Didn't last long unfortunately
Congratulations to Dunmow Town and manager Paul Hayes for reaching the Eastern Counties Div 1 South play-offs.
Killian Phillips misses the decisive penalty as Aberdeen lose a shootout to Celtic in the Scottish Cup.
Lewis Wing scores for Reading.
Is that double digits for him now?
@shev mate at that level you and me would be at 1.3 involvement
You were in the Swedish second tier last year?
Jack Young scores for Wealdstone. I know I know but he’s hardly a current player
I think he'll be involved next season
I certainly hope so. He’d be excellent on Co-comms too. Very articulate and that lovely Geordie (?) accent.
I hope he gets a chance next season so that we can at least find out whether he is or isn’t good enough.
So good in pre-season and lots of plaudits today from Wealdstone fans for his performance at Oldham. Winning the MOTM poll by a mile.
I watched the Wealdstone game today and he was extremely tidy, as he has bebe throughout his time there by the sounds of it.
*has been. Not sure why I'm bringing a renowned Manchester United flop into this.
