It Is great for all of us to choose the starting line up for Wembley, excitement is rising which is how it should be however ultimately Matt will choose from what is available regardless of opinions on a fan chat app. We have played them twice this season, he will have his plans in place to pick the players to nullify any threat the opposition offers. I will turn up next Sunday check what our team is. Then sit back and watch Peterborough get hammered. Not exciting but I am good with that. If it all goes wrong I might change my mind. I do not do religion but will pray for a Josh miracle recovery.
I’ve forgotten who had Jason McCarthy at left back. Probably someone who didn’t see him there earlier in the season. No way, josé. Is that the right spelling?!
I love the way so many have picked Koné as a starter. There have been comments recently about his need to learn how to defend. Oh, come on. That’s a bit like Roy Keane being critical of Ehrling Haaland’s worse than League 2 level link-up play. Or something like that. Let him stay up front and be a constant nuisance, opening space for the likes of Sadlier and, fingers crossed, Garath McCleary. He of the miraculous recovery from what was it @Twizz ?!
At a time when even @TheAndyGrahamFanClub members have stopped pinching themselves when they see “Vokesy” in a Wycombe shirt and are rubbing their chins in silent contemplation of whether he is still up to it, I am sure we are not alone.
To be fair he showed flashes on Monday of the kind of ability that enabled him to score 56 goals in 7 seasons at Burnley in the Premier League a few years ago. Both @drcongo and I commented on it at the time.
Unfortunately, the risk is that he might be haunted by the memory of his last appearance at Wembley.
Take away the five at the back late panics and Max would have a pretty decent clean sheet record too. I like Ravizzoli, but I think he is benefiting from "shiny new thing" bias.

Gaz level shithousery?
Franco
Grimmer Low Tafazolli Leahy
Potts Butcher
Wheeler Taylor* Sadlier
Kone
*I don’t know how to accommodate Taylor. Central he’s flawed, up close to the striker he’s effective. Maybe start Vokes alongside Kone.

I've not commented on any injury situations since that rather poor episode @micra. I was hoping people had forgotten.
I believe he was suffering from a leg fracture at the time.
It was me. Concerned that Leahy is not defensive enough against Ajiboye/Poku.
Can we pick the Peterborough goalkeeper from the last game against them in their team please?
And some of you still want Max back in the team?!
Yep
I don’t know what the replacement has done but he was getting terrible abuse at the weekend for his performance.
Max should definitely play in the final after his performance in the semi.
Thought Rav looked very shaky last Friday, didn't instill me with confidence, though tbf other than that he's looked OK.
If only to irritate you, @micra and @drcongo I'd like to see Max whacking it up to an immobile Vokesy for the first 60 minutes. 😊
You speak, sir, as if we’re lone rangers!! 🙁

It's becoming an obsession
When he signs a contract extension over the summer it's going to be a very entertaining few days on here. Get the popcorn out, as the kids say 🍿🍿🍿
He won’t. Not obsession, just realism and an element of sheer frustration.
Assuming Gmacs fit I’ll go with this. With Leahy in for KVY
Seemed to do ok last time we played them.

We are allowed to like them both, aren't we?
Of course. But we're not allowed to play them both.
I think Max and Vokesy upfront would be quite entertaining...
I'd do Max but I'd be thinking of Ravi.
As Eric Morecambe would say 'There's no answer to that...' @Kim_il_Swan
True, and I do - but with six league games plus a final left, it does feel like this stretch might decide which of them stays or goes in the summer.
Interesting, I would think with the number of games and competitions we start off in...we might hang on to both until at least January.
I believe usual forum rules are that one has to be brilliant and one has to be useless at any given moment.
They’re both both brilliant and useless but not at the same time.
