  • END. 2024 might be added to the crest quite soon....

  • Last night I dreamt we beat ColU, although Mark Westhead got the winner, (volley from a corner) so it might not be the most reliable guide.

    COME ON WYCOMBE

  • Seems to be some problems on the rail line to Reading Green Park, disruption to services. Best check before you travel if using this route.

It sounds like someone was on the line but they expect it to be reopened and fine by 12.30

(I don't know why the hyperlink isn't linking - @drcongo can you help?)

  • First away game in a while. Can’t say I’m looking forward to it. Anyone got any actual reasons to be optimistic for this one? I had to chuck my ‘believe’ sign in the bin, it got wet.

  • Last 6 games home form. Reading are 5th. Last 6 games away form. Wycombe are 21st.

This will lull them into a false sense of security and while they are doing various protests about their owner we can hit them with a SUCKER PUNCH

  • 99% probably Lewis Wing scores against us

  • And McCleary scores against them. If he can take his mind off his Twitter war against some company called ADT for one minute.

  • You should always enjoy going to watch your football team play, it’s a great privilege.

  • And it will probably be a screamer

Not always - we've been a pretty painful watch for much of this season!

My first and, I expect, last visit to The Select Car Leasing Stadium.

Gotta love a generic out-of-town template-o-drome in a retail park.

Personally I’d be perfectly happy to see us go into negative “sit back and hit on the counter” mode, a draw would be fine.

But what I’m really hoping is that they crank this immortal, majestic (Madejskic?) banger before KO.

All hail the glory of Reading.

  • Yes, I’m already in ‘take a point,’ mode which normally doesn’t happen until at least the tenth minute.

  • My wife's just sent me a photo of a double rainbow near her apartment. This is a very rare event in the UAE and can only mean we win 2-0. (McCleary, Kone)

  • I'm predicting...

    A Garath McCleary brace

    Dale Taylor solo effort

Tafa headed clearance off the line

  • Well, I’d probably be screaming. The air would be blue.

I’m very much in the settle for a draw camp.

Carl Brook (averaging over four yellows per match) has presided over two Wycombe matches. Both defeats. Third time lucky?!

  • Point today will do me. At a music festival so we won’t even be watching, hopeful for positive app notifications.

  • Reading Festival???

  • Wycombe are a much better side with much better players. They are not burdened by horrific off field matters either.

    There you go.

  • Would be nice to know what Joe Low is ‘unavailable’ for

  • Lonwijk for Low is a bit of a concern. Joe has been great last few games

  • Listening out for the "Kolo and Yaya Touré" song today, for the Zolli brothers, Ravi and Tafa.

  • I always believe until I don't. Not worth watching football at all for the most part if you don't.

  • Grimmer inside, I assume and the Phillips-like (?) Lonwyjk at right back. Hopefully not an accident waiting to happen today.

    Lubala lone striker?

  • When on earth is Jasper going to get a look in?

  • At least the starting lineup has a total football look about it.

  • I guess when he is fit

  • Are you sure he’s still injured? I’d not heard that.

And has Jack Young’s month at Wealdstone been extended?

  • He's on the bench for their FA Trophy QF today
