And there’s me thinking that referees this season seem, if anything, to be intent on letting games flow, sometimes letting things get a little too physical.
Reading / Vale delayed due to a pitch invasion, on the 17th minute mark, and Bolton / Cheltenham delayed due to a medical incident in the crowd, on the 32nd minute.
Hopefully the League award the game to Port Vale, or at the very least compensate the financial losses of Vale and particularly their supporters. I expect the EFL will sit on their arses as usual.

Bit of a random one: just discovered that Trevor Kettle is currently Chief Refereeing Officer for the Indian FA
A kettle must come in quite handy with the amount of tea they drink!
Ridiculous penalty given against Coventry. Tackling has gone completely from the game of football.

Cue Scott Oldham, our referee this afternoon, brandishing his fifth red card.
Looks like a minority of particularly low-life Coventry fans disgraced themselves in the lead-up to that game. What on earth goes through people's heads? https://www.theguardian.com/football/2024/jan/13/police-remove-banners-on-m69-motorway-mocking-srivaddhanaprabha-helicopter-crash-leicester-coventry
no words to describe that.

Portsmouth three down at home to Leyton Orient.
Including a missed penalty from Pompey.
Bolton V Cheltenham has been abandoned after a fan in the stands was taken ill i hope they will be okay.
Match abandoned. Oh boy.
What did you do, Uche?!
Whatever he did, it wouldn't be scoring a goal.
Reading fans did a tennis ball protest then stormed the pitch, apparently. Solid.
Grimsby - Notts County looks fun, 5-5!
That one came home to roost.

Mind if I ask what a tennis ball protest is?
Chucking tennis balls onto the pitch - disruptive but not destructive. It's become a fairly common thing in anti-ownership protests.
Reading will be selling off second hand tennis balls cheap then!
Ah, thanks.
They did it during their FA Cup game last month too, so they won't be short of balls!
A Reading pal reckons their fans are already planning the exact same action at their next home game.
Difficult times ahead and fans of whoever is playing them away next might want to consider the wisdom of going.
Or take a tennis racket!
That form of protest has moved on.
Fans storming the pitch and refusing to move is a lot more difficult to move than a few tennis balls.
The EFL might force the match to be played behind closed doors
They will have to look at this soon as the forum noise is they'll keep doing this until they force their owner out.
And forcing a foreign based millionaire owner out won't be easy.
And this penalize all the innocent Port Vale fans ...
