It is somewhat amusing these people who criticise others for making mistakes as if they have never made a mistake in their lives. Give the guy a break.
The standard of writing at the BFP is generally poor across the board - as is the case at many local papers. It's an industry on its arse and resources are spread incredibly thin.
That said, when errors are being made with such regularity - and I mean errors as opposed to typos, which are not ideal but come down to sloppiness / writing at speed more often that not - you do have to wonder what their process is at an editorial level (not that there is much of an editorial level these days, which is half the problem).
Equally, many of the mistakes are incredibly basic and it shouldn't take subbing to pick them up.
Some are pretty harmless, but some might cost the club a little.
Like the BFP wrongly saying the next day's game was away one week. Could well have been some occasional fans with a free day reading that and taken that as gospel.
I never like to say good riddance to a player as I’m sure he had good intentions when he joined. But nothing on field suggested he had a positive impact on those around him. A whining, arm waving, waste who’s first touch and athleticism will be ranked alongside other great failures like Trevor Aylott.
We can't put all of our trust in Leahy at LB as he left Shrewsbury because he didn't want to play there and JJ just isn't up to it any more to play there consistently. We do have Vincent-Young but he'll slow the game down by always bringing the ball onto his right foot to do anything with it and hasn't been consistent enough with his fitness and/or form this season.
Maybe not as strange as it seems at first. I imagine Sheffield United want him to develop as a wing-back, and we've (hopefully) left that system behind now.

Poor James. A few typos in an article and he's being referenced in the same post to Hancock!

I liked the one where it said we hadn't had a home match on a Saturday yet this season.
Lyle Taylor’s departure has been confirmed.
PS can we rename this topic ‘January Transfer Window’ or something!?
Good. Must go down as one of our worst ever signings.
On paper it could have been genius, but just didn't work. It happens.

The slippery slope of football.
At one point he was holding us off as he thought better offers were about to arise.
For comparison ...
I had an email from the FA this week announcing some details of the upcoming match v Belgium (according to the subject line).
First line if the actual email content England v Italy, in big bold type.
Seven minutes later I had a second corrected email.
Can't tell me they are short of resources...
Harry Boyes has gone back, confirmed by club. Shame, really liked him.
Harry Boyes departure confirmed. A shame. I wonder if we'll be in the market for a LB?
Trevor Aylott was much quicker 😂
We must be!
I Hope so!

I think Leahy is professional enough to play where he's told to play, but I expect us to bring someone in.
What the hell, he’s gone to Fleetwood!!

So at the moment the current players are in on Loan - Freddie Potts, Kilian Philips, Dale Taylor & Gideon Kodua.
And our current players out on loan are: Jack Wakely*, Jack Young, Laurie Shala, D'Mani Mellor.
*Has a serious injury and not sure if he's still there or not?
Players we should be looking to move on (Transfer or Loan) - De Barr, Taylor Clark, Luca Woodhouse, Christie Ward?
He may not of settled down south and was homesick .
@Otter87 I thought Jack Young had come back from Scotland?
Clark went out on loan last week, Farnborough I think. I'd like Ward to stay here and maybe be an option off the bench.
It takes nearly the same time to get to Sheffield from Fleetwood as it does from Wycombe.
He is a northern lad.hence homesick.
