They grab all the best youth prospects and sell some on, have the best coaches and facilities, don't have to pay over the odds to get people to sign as they want to play there and will kick up a fuss if they aren't allowed to go there. Agents falling at there feet .....
...oh yeah, and they have been pretty slimy with regard to declaring what they are spending and where that cash is coming from. But I'm sure that's all behind them....
Dreadfully unfortunate OG by Malta gives a horribly disjointed, much changed England team the lead.
Then the ref makes a howler, booking Kane for a dive that was actually a foul by the keeper where the correct decision should have been an England pen.
Its been rumoured for a while most of the players want the manager gone and only the oldest players still want him there cos he keeps calling them up. Today I think was those players actively trying to get him sacked. He's completely lost them.
Hmmm, could it be at all related to the fact that France are one of the best teams in world football with an embarrassment of riches and 10s of players valued at 10m+ and Gibraltar have few people who play at all in any league and none at the top level.
When you get mismatches like this the score could be anything. It's like asking people from a local leisure centre to get in a ring with the heavyweight champion of the world.
It's alright, they can put it right on Tuesday night at home (ish - playing in Portugal) to erm..The Netherlands.
I'm sure they are trying and will get better but they could appoint Mourinho, Southgate, Sir Alex and Martin O'Neill to the coaching staff and you still wouldn't bet 50p on them beating one of the top 5 or 6 teams anytime soon.
Not sure I'd put any of my money on England doing that either tbh
doubt it, he was completely isolated anyway. Wouldn't blame him if he got "injured" and returns to Wycombe early though.
The most important thing for Gibraltar going forward is getting rid of the manager and forcibly retiring the players who should have already retired 3-8 years ago. Playing 5/10 outfielders who are over 35 (two of which being over 40) against the World Cup runners up is suicide. And starting an out of form keeper who was dropped by his club team a month ago doesn't help. There are good young players they can choose, as evidenced by recent positive results for the U21s and U17s, but they have an unpopular and out of touch manager who only picks his mates.

It's cheap being rich.

I'm certain that those figures are totally legit.

Some quality lines from Dublin tonight...
"It's a great save" (Goalkeeper makes a noble attempt to save it but it goes in)
"It's an easy finish for Declan Rice" followed by..."that was not an easy finish..."
It appears the commentary has now been cut!
Ah Dublin, a man who always seems surprised by a set of stairs
Gibraltar concede two own goals in the first 5 minutes against France. Could be a long night for Tjay.
17yo Warren Zaire-Emery (aka Warren @drcongo-Emery) starts, Frances's youngest international in more than 100 years
3-0 down and a player sent off. Draw looking unlikely.
(Player sent off for injuring Emery)
6-0 now
*7-0
7-0
The big battle is between Tjay and France's Goalie to see who can go the entire game without touching the ball.
Manager has to go after this. Replace him with someone who won't name a squad an average age of 57.
11-0 Old school thrashing taking place. Not like the 2-0 England dished out yesterday.
12-0, Coman and Mbappe both on hat-tricks
Oh no, VAR rules out the 12th. Just as well - it was beginning to get humiliating for Gibraltar.
Tjay subbed as Mbappe actually does make it 12-0
14-0

Wow, that's a proper old school Sunday morning drubbing !
At least they can laugh about it over a pint with the opposition in the clubhouse after, and serve them up a plate of sausages and chips
Very unprofessional of them if so. Hopefully De Barr wasn't in on that.
Giroud's finish for the 14th goal was completely unnecessary 😂 https://twitter.com/ViaplaySportsUK/status/1725992324176502832?s=19
Top finish for a goalkeeper!

Gib had a man sent off after 18 minutes too.
