Evans is a totally obnoxious individual but if it’s true and he has contacted both Hanlan and Leahy, Bloomfield should have checked or been better informed, before saying anything.
I think that was Ronnie Moore, he qualified the "cheating" accusations as being about him not tracking back. A ridiculous thing to moan about when his own team failed to score more goals against a team that in his eyes couldn't defend properly.
The other thing was that in Betsy’s case it was completely unfair. He was a wide player who contributed plenty going forwards and did his fair share in defence too.
An astute observation. That would definitely seem like a logical succession plan for Stevenage based on style and motivation levels. Hopefully they see it differently!
I think that Bloomfield having had his career ended, not by those who demanded he never pull on the shirt again, but by a serious head injury was visibly upset by the scenes at the game and spoke accordingly. He's not a totally obnoxious individual as yet...so I know whose side I am on.

I think he accused Kevin Betsy of being a cheat while he was at Rotherham, although I forget the circumstances.

Was that the "cheat" line as in doesn't track back?
Or actually cheating?

I'm afraid a not unlikely outcome from that scenario is that Ainsworth replaces him.
I've always found that definition bizarre. I played in one team where a guy was obsessed with saying it. But never heard it in loads of other teams.

That was it exactly. But as @ReadingMarginalista points out it was actually Ronnie Moore.
