For all the excellent transfer business we have done and creative quality we have that's the one missing piece I think I would have liked sorted. A rapid young striker
If you are playing with that midfield 3 you are not expecting a glut of crosses coming in from wide. So Taylor has to be the striker. I would prefer a 4-4-2. With Leahy on the left.
A very harsh selection on the missing players such as Low and KVY who have performed well when selected.
Still don’t think Blooms has got the centre halves he needs in order to progress play out of the back. He might have wanted Keogh and Low but they are so wooden / flat footed and desperately lack agility. Think we will struggle against a high press.
I guess this is a situation where everyone will give a different answer. While our squad does have a mixture of young and experienced players, by playing 3 at the back, it can lead to confusion over who's doing what. Whereas with a back 4, everyone knows their role and normally needs little organisation. Also, it was a toss-up on who missed out when looking at Grimmer, Boyes and KVY, with the squad we have, there will always be someone who has to miss out.

I won't be able to make it tonight, I've got to play Football Manager in my mum's basement.
This is a MUST WIN game.
If we don't win I will smash a cup.
Surely you mean Mom dude
i won't be there either, Tuesday nights are my Poker League games, But will be following this thread on my phone, hoping for lots of 'get in'.
Totally
Orient just signed Forde from Watford. Apparently a very rapid young striker so hopefully JJ is not left one on one with him!

Is that not Dale Taylor?
Is rapid any different to quick
Rapid is Nathan Tyson when we first had him. Quick is Tyson went he returned
Seems to be a more hipster word to use.
And is Taylor meant to be really quick then?
I hope our starting XI reads:
Max
Grimmer Forino Taff Boyes
Scowen Leahy
McCleary Potts Philips
Vokes or Taylor
Back 4 yes.
Potts as the furthest forward midfielder of the 3, not so sure.
How much all in will be called?

Just £25 for 3!
The question will be, who's going to win out of Bargepole, North Pole, Beanpole, Flagpole & Fishpole!
Who would you go for instead?

So you can get a mug with the shirt on but still not the actual shirt?

South Pole is currently banned for having cards under the table
Can you sue someone for cheating at poker?
The worst player is polestar, ironically.
Maypole is too indecisive.
Maypole was too wrapped up in his own stuff to think about cards
Will the game be played at the Polecat?
An interesting twist.
Pole-dancer has to work tonight at The White Horse
I'd like to see them carry on with a front 2 of Taylor and Vokes, with Leahy just behind.
Flashes of it working the 1st half against Lincoln, with Leahy pushing way beyond Vokes for flick-ons.
Seems little point trying that for pre-season then immediately abandoning it.
