We still seem to be caught in 2 minds as to whether to play the ball to feet or tonk it up the park & more often than not make the wrong choice...
We are also too static with midfield/forwards failing to create space or offer outlet options.
Plus watching Taf & Keogh trying to recover back is like watching the progress of a glacier - for thier second their scorer gave those 2 10yards and still ended up ahead of them
I doubt there will be pressure for a while. The lack of any push from RC that we're determined for promotion, and with the huge change, means that they know its a season of transition.
As did we. Before the season started we knew that we weren't likely to fly out of the traps, and it would take a while to figure things out
We play a style that makes our attacking potential impotent then. The pattern is the same. Lovely passing football and then when that yields no goals we revert to lumping it.
I do think players like Vokes have a certain responsibility as senior pros to say what they want in terms of service. I always got the impression that Bayo was not shy about saying how to get the best out of him.
Anyway. Another disaster performance reflected in the result.

Have only been watching the second half, but we have struggled to produce any momentum or pressure. Their goal had been coming for a while. Not good.
This is another poor performance I’m afraid. No idea where our goals are coming from.
This is a very talented squad that has no attacking identity. Saturday curse striking again.
Paging Trevor to the thread....
Lost our way this half. Was quite positive at half time.
looks like my season prediction was too generous .
Wow. That was quick!
Pressure will build. The board has backed MB massively and the talent in the squad is exceptional.
Goals in the strikers will once again be a problem this season.
Is KV-Y playing?
Another ball into the box and we’re 2 down.
Is anyone playing?
There it is again. We've deserved to concede both times. Too easy.
There are plenty of goals in this squad. Whether he can get those goals out of them is another matter...
We look totally clueless going forward again.
Lose on Tuesday night and the knives will be out.
Thankfully Wigan's points deduction keeping us off the bottom.

Slow defence, blunt attack.
Lots of work to do to say the least.
Definitely playing now. Best on right.
I know it's early season but I'd be immediately looking to go to a back 4 and only play 1 of Taf, Keogh, Jj each game.

If the result stays as it is, that’s 5 wins in 19 games for Bloomfield as manager . Certainly not good enough.
None on Saturdays the most bizarre stat.
@Malone I agree our slow defenders are being exposed in a 3
It is however early days & with so many new players coming in it will take time to get them to gel (I know other teams are in a similar position).
After 3 games the knives shouldn’t even be thought about
This result isn’t changing. Damage limitation now.
There will be people asking for the manager to be sacked if we lose on Tuesday.
Based on what I've seen so far my expectation is bottom at the end of the month and a new manager before October.
Get back to 4-3-3, stop wasting a position on an extra centre back.
Full backs can still get forward but we're not staking way too much on them the current way.
Then we can fit in Potts, Scowen and Leahy and still play 2 wide players with Vokes.
Remember when we would be behind in a game and feel confident of at least a valiant attempt at a comeback?
I miss Bayo.
Umm.....3-0
