There may be some people asking, but that doesn't mean the Couhigs will listen. The fact they immediately went from Blooms in Feb shows they have a lot of faith in him. I think unless relegation is a real threat, MB will be in the job.
It'd be utterly stupid to give a young manager in the job, let him sign 10 players, and sack him because it hasn't started brilliantly.
We haven't figured out a way to attack yet, that's clear. I've been really disappointed with Taff and Keogh in this game. Out of position and switching off.
Starting to think we tossed out a very successful brand of football, part of our aura and identity, direct, never say die, and replaced it with something we really don't know how to do.
Maybe these things take time, but this looks dire so far.
My hunch is it's about 50-50 - definitely more back 3s than a few years ago. Conte repopularised it at Chelsea - they were the first top-flight title winners in I think 50+ years to play with a back 3 - and I guess it's trickled down from there.
Don’t let Chris Forino off here. He’s been every bit as bad as the other two. Although the disappearance of our midfield after the first subs seems to be the main issue.
Now it’s just 11 men jogging about who look like they’ve never met.
44 games into his managerial career and Blooms has lost almost half of them. Very concerning.
How anyone can keep defending Bloomfield is beyond me he has disbanded a decent team and bought in a load of crap . Relegation battle on our hands for sure

Oh dear
I’d be getting concerned if I was Bloomers. That last goal was the look of a relegated side who’d packed it in.
A shocking second half.
what game are you watching must be a different game i dont see talent you claim they are just a squad in dissaray .
It's hard enough with new players in a standard system, but new players in a fancy back 3 that most lower league teams don't play seemed optimistic.
Bore off with your one note ramblings @trevor - they’re the last thing any of us need.
He's had 17 games, enough to get a good idea of what he's about as a coach - which seems to be... not much.

Worrying that we’ve lost badly to two teams who (as Ainsworth might say) are unlikely to be up there come the end of the season.

My impression is that most teams do now play with a back three.
We need more time to gel. That's all that needs to be said.
That and FUCKING HELL
Can we have some @ReturnToSenda analysis on this?
We didn't chuck it out. The manager who built it left. What were we meant to do?
All with the irony of this managerial appointment being something people said would ensure identity remained.

Now this is something I do agree with you on.
These are midtable type teams we're getting spanked by. Same as at the end of last season with Cheltenham and a couple of others.
Its time to go im sorry how much longer can this crap go on. Im all for giving a manager time but this is god awful. Get the Cowley brothers in.
It is clear, we look a lot better moving the ball forward with McCleary playing in the 10
It is still very early days this season. That's what we cling to for now.
Not sure the situation is that grim.
JJ and Phil sound depressed.
Reading have 0 points as well. Some very cold comfort.
Tough gig for JJ.
Watching us playing appallingly in the 2nd half, but knowing he might get back in now!
Absolutely desperate performance.
It’s just not working with Bloomfield I’m afraid.
I hear you
Hmm.
I feel your pain.
