Further to the access road comments, I have been considering starting up a petition. Would any chairboys on here see any benefit to doing so? I know Steve Baker personally and could get him to try and help push it?
If that refers to me, I certainly haven't 'stopped'.
Still a bit shell-shocked by what I saw yesterday, going 0-2 down in the first five minutes wasn't in the script, and seemed to blow whatever game plan we had out of the water. JJ and Keogh looked like they were getting ready to join a Walking Football team post-retirement, and the frequent hoofed balls up to Hanlan never looked likely to produce anything.
There was also too much head tennis going on in midfield, which the Exeter players nearly always came out on the right side of.
For the first time, and certainly the last, I booked a place in the upper car park. I didn't get out until all the stewards had taken off their high-viz bibs and gone home. Won't be doing that again.
As someone has already mentioned the rugby, this was a last chance saloon for the fringe players in the England squad to book a place in the final 33 to be announced on Monday. On that showing, not many of them will make it.
Agree with lots of this, Barge. How about the car park too, eh? Ruddy nightmare so it was.
In agreement too on the ruggers comments, still we live in hope that they were just taking it easy. Just a darn shame we lost to that lot!! Anyone but them….. 😡😡
Someone is going to have to help me out here….. is it a case of that if you like football then you can’t like any other sport?
Is it to look big and cool to all the other people on the forum?
I bet plenty on here watch Rugby, F1, Tennis, NBA…. Etc etc. You can like other sports but still see football as your main love (like I do, specifically the mighty Chairboys!)
With regards to the car park. I left when Exeter scored their third. As I walked behind the Whiffaway and onto the main car park area I saw that all exit routes had already been blocked for the motorists wishing for a quick getaway. Considering the game continued for a good ten minutes I'd imagine those drivers would've been beyond frustrated.
This refers to the period 2002-2014, when Wasps were tenants and played their home games at Adams Park. At one point during that, Steve Hayes became the owner of both clubs, and wanted to relocate everything to a proposed new 20,000 seater stadium at Booker, for which permission was refused by the Council.
Many long-standing Wycombe fans were bitterly opposed, and the resentment still lingers.
But that's all in the past now, Wasps are gone, and the focus is on England's fairly slim chances in the RWC 2023, from 8 September to 28 October.
Yes I know, I posted that for the benefit of our new member.
Talking of new members, would it be possible for @drcongo to print off a few leaflets and distribute them at a home game? Something along the lines of 'Got an opinion on the Chairboys? Why not discuss it with other fans at https://gasroom.org? Free and easy to register.'
Great idea. I’ve loved my very short time on here so far. It’s made the time fly by, where I would be normally pining for my ex wife. (Long story…. one for a pub meet up if another is arranged)

Calling for ainsworth to go where is your proof ,it's not just 1 game is it,he had quarter of a season plus pre season
That would be madness and despite the less than amazing start to things he needs time. And deserves time.
I hope leaders emerge in the changing room and help him deliver.
Blooms has ‘all the badges’, we will be fine.

Can you get him to resign?
Can you get him to self-immolate?
I rate how your suggestion got fewer thumbs down than mine 😂

My other half would definitely not agree with you on that.
Frank Adams Upper, by the way.
That sounds shit

No, just rugby
I'm being slightly tongue-in-cheek, but any Wycombe fan should know why rugby talk wouldn't be massively well-received on this forum.
Hopefully we can change this agenda, try by try, penalty kick by penalty kick.

Ps I do usually stay until the end.

‘Wasps are gone,’
Yes they are!
@ReturnToSenda Senda didn't ask why people hate Wasps and Rugby.
He knows!
Exactly, me old fruit. I’m actually fortunate enough to have a ticket for the Argentina game, but unfortunately have to miss Cambridge (H).
I can not ruddy wait. 🏉
Get a room!

👍👍
I genuinely thought Richie / @davecz had matured enough to drop the wearying wind-up accounts. But I guess school's out for the summer.
Sorry , not sure I understand this comment. Are you suggesting I set up some bogus account to wind people up? Clearly not read any of my posts.
Did you post this under the wrong login? Sure it could get confusing.
The responding to the other account with this login cracks me up.
Right allegation, wrong recipient of allegation methinks.
