I actually prefer that is something pretty close to a proper match with both sides wanting a full dress rehearsal before next Saturday. Should be interesting viewing.
Not a huge fan of those meaningless games of old boys - even though they are my heroes. I remember the game George Best played in at Loakes Park. Sounded good on paper, was deadly dull in reality.
I hate friendlies but living so close it'd feel wrong not honouring JJ with the minimum, of me turning up for the amount he's contributed to the cause.
The stack of new players spices it up quite a bit, as does the old boy parade.
Cardiff / championship doesn't do much for me, but it's a good personal result for JJ. And like he said they could have had a prem team, but most likely they'd have been youngsters, which would probably feel more frustrating than a "proper" full on battle between first teams.
Interview with JJ on Cardiff TV. Apparently they are streaming the game, £4 I believe. Unsure if we are also streaming and also unsure as to whether any or all of the £4 goes to JJ.
I’ve tried in vain to contact the club to buy my old seat (which was still available a couple of minutes ago) only to repeatedly get a posh boy telling me “there is nobody to take your call at this time.” I originally left a message at 12.30.

Haven't bought a ticket yet, but am 90% sure I will.
Looking forward to the legends parade. Though slightly disappointed it's not like the old school testimonials where the old boys played a part.
That was the deal-breaker for me with tickets as expensive as they are. Hope it's a good one for JJ and a decent warm-up for the first proper game!
I suppose we are so near to the season start that we have to use this game as our final pre-season for the first team squad.
I hope all the fans support JJ and go along to thank him for all he has done for the club.

Does anyone know if you can buy the shirt today? I'd imagine not because of this....
I'm no marketing guy, but I think it'd be absolute madness if the club don't have a full club shop stocking both today and next week.
It's probably understandable they can't have say 1,000 of every size in though, hence the pre-order element.
But you'd imagine they'll surely have say 100 of each size in?

No buses from the station will add some cost or time but wouldn't miss this one.
I'm sorry the cost of living crisis offends so many of you
I can’t go today but i have bought a ticket - JJ has to rank as one of my all time favourite Wycombe players. Hope he has a fantastic day
I wonder if Matt has asked for the pitch to be made wider this season given the intention to play a more possession based game with wing-backs.
Gareth seemingly preferred the pitch to be as small as possible and narrowed the touch lines. Matt might want a bit more space out there.
Hadn’t thought about that. I shall follow suit.
Me too. I’m working today but JJ very much in my thoughts. A superb ambassador for our club.
With 3 at the back I very much expect him to get a lot of game time🤞
What chance of a JJ corner goal today? We're long overdue!
I don't know what's wrong with some people.
Over double digits for that one 😂
Stryjek, Grimmer, Jacobson, Breckin, Leahy, Boyes, Keogh, Hanlan, Potts, Taylor, Vincent-Young.
Our subs today are: Shala, Scowen, Forino, McCleary, Vokes, Young, Lowe, De Barr, Woodhouse.
Scowen and Vokes. I’m breathing slightly easier.
Great to see Josh and Vokesey back amongst it.

Can I get audio?

Think it’s on Wycombe Sound @micra
Thanks @Jonny_King .
Even more than posts about homophobia in the game it seems
Hope that money goes to him.
Clearly Wycombe didn't advertise this £4 version as it'd properly dent JJs pot.
13mins to kick off Cardiff end aside it looks a little bit JPT so far.
Indeed. I only spotted it on one of their forums, haven’t seen it advertised anywhere else.

No Mellor , is he injured as well now ?
Fair play to the Wycombe Sound guys doing the radio commentary, but they are not a patch on @bluntphil
Looked smiley enough taking pics with kids outside and obvious signs of injury so hopefully a niggle at worst.
