Saturday's game is also your chance to check out the brand-new kit, the fantastic new catering AND our nine summer signings for the first time at Adams Park
I have a contact at West Ham and they speak very highly of this lad who they see as a future first team star in the making. This really is the icing on the cake.
Have we even started signing players for the development squad?
I definitely prefer the way we have gone about this seasons transfer window compared to last. On the front foot, positive and decisive with some great signings (I’ll be honest, I’d not heard of many before they signed for us, but those in the know see happy).
Summer 2022 Dancing yak was a lot less optimistic than the 2023 version. Which, as mockers go, is probably the wrong thing to say.
I'm still hoping we sign Kone for the development squad. If it helps RC make up his mind, my wife said even she would watch a TV show about us with his back-story.
Questionable if these clubs need much or any payment, as much as they are giving us players, we are developing them for them. If he has a storming season in L1 and goes back as a man well versed in the pro game and dark arts ready to play in the first team that is very valuable to them.
It’s possible to do more than one thing at a time.
or do you just spend all of your income every month and not worry about the future as that’s another days problem.
FWIW, with 4 loan signings I rather imagine it’s the cheaper way of getting quality players in rather than signing them with their signing on fees, agent fees and wages etc.
Now that small English football clubs have replaced handbag dogs as a must-have in Hollywood, the Couhigs are going to have blank cheques thrown at them with the 'refugee from sexual persecution' storyline.
Though it might end up with a movie where Kone gets off the train in a station called 'London' before heading to Wickham Wanderers.

You can understand this confusion
Sam Smith?
(changes 4.5m bench fodder premier league fantasy football option away from Surridge....)

Nine? Have I missed one.
New signing coming up
Are we taking "check out" the kit as it'll be available in the club shop in decent quantity?
Or a literal just view it on the players?
Must be Freddie Potts, given the reference to cooking?

It is Potts, great signing!
It is.
Never seen him play, but it sounds a great signing on paper.

Sounds very positive.
I wonder if it was one of @kipper ’s three !!!
Here it is: if Blooms can coach and manage as well as he can recruit, we’ll be top 6 this season.
Hmm
I’m done.
What a signing
At least he’s not from Charlton eh?
Automatics this year then? 😋
His father Caractacus must be delighted
A truly scrumptious signing....!
Genuinely being lined up as Rice’s replacement. I did not think for a moment we would get him. This should be one of the finest loan signings ever.
Anyone else a little bit concerned as to where we're getting all this money from? Did QPR pay us off handsomely for Gaz or is Bobby C gambling again?

Can’t you just enjoy the excitement of making so many positive signings without raising concerns about how they’re being financed?
