I agree, the last one was classic/ not very exciting but nailed the quarters, colours etc, looked perfect, not sure how well chevrons go on this but you can never really tell until you see it live or put one on. It's decent and there's a lot of love for the brand probably based on what they have done elsewhere and what we might get for away / GK.
There is always a wide range of opinions on kit as it is so subjective. But it seems that this one has been accepted more positively than any recent kit release i can remember...
A point to @glasshalfempty (as I share his challenges around 'shape') i thought in the past they had said that the kits that are produced for the fans are more generously cut than those the players wear. I'm hoping this is the case with the new brand, but I haven't read it anywhere. Anyone...? ....Bueller? ...Bueller?
I really like the shades of both blues, particularly the light blue. It is a simple, clean, smart design, conservative which is fine. I'm relieved they didn't go for pin-stripes, and that the badge is woven. I do like the sleeves being different colours and I think I like the chevrons, that needs a closer look. I will buy it.
Not sure if it's been covered on here but wanted to get the 3 kids the new kit and it looks like it starts from age 5/6. Anyone know if this is correct?
I'm not sure Vokesy needs the hassle or is the type that wants to lead by anything than example, guessing obviously, as for JMac I'm not sure that he'll be an automatic starter once we finalize the lineup.
Best player most weeks but unlikely to run off at the first offer as he's been and done it, model pro, well respected by all, might be a bit quiet but in any other job you'd want to encourage him to grow his role. Not sure why you'd look anywhere else if JJ is set to play more of a supporting role this season. We're probably 2 new Left Backs and a centre back off that happening though.
I do agree with the points made - I prefer a captain to be either a CB, a 4 or an 8. Scowen definitely leads by example. I just wonder why he was not already in the pecking order...much like why Stewart never was. A quieter character?
I always send new kits to Football Shirt Culture, and for some reason they have always ignored us. Finally this year they have us up, and as of right now it is the best reviewed kit I have seen out of any global release (6 of 7 star average).

Always an interesting range if opinions on kits.
To me this is just standard. But I don't think anyone has disliked it yet?
Has anyone pre-ordered yet? Apparently the shirt isn't actually available until mid-August? Ie 2 weeks into the season.

I noticed on the club's official Twitter Wycombe Wanderers (@wwfcofficial) / Twitter, that RC was thanking Josh Scowen for his leadership on and off the pitch.
Does this mean that he's likely to be named as captain for the coming season, perhaps with JJ coming on as a sub for the last few minutes?
It would be very boring if we had exactly the same shades of blue on every kit

I was thinking there was a small chance of this too. Perhaps at JJ’s testimonial there will be some sort of passing of the captaincy sleeve.
I think I saw measurements on one of the club pages
Here is the size guide
Anyone have any idea when the 2nd kit (refusing to call it away kit) will be announced ?
For JJs testimonial, I reckon that a certain keeper could appear for both sides in each half, which.....technically......would mean the following.....

Ah good, the old away kit / change kit debate again

The usual suspects will be utterly frothing at any reference to "away kit"
Am i the only one getting 92/93 vibes from this shirt? That can only be a good thing.
Also is it only the top available for kids?
If that’s the case then just wait for the 3rd strip…….
Scowen's dad made a reference to the captaincy on Twitter in response to hoe the club worded the post.
It might be strange for him to "jump the queue" over the likes of Jmac and Vokes, though?
I'm not sure Vokesy needs the hassle or is the type that wants to lead by anything than example, guessing obviously, as for JMac I'm not sure that he'll be an automatic starter once we finalize the lineup.
Vokes has worn the armband before. I suppose there is a big jump to taking it on full time, though.
If I was Blooms I would definitely make Scowen captain.
Agreed. For all reasons.
McCarthy will probably rotate with Grimmer, and Vokesy missed a few spells last season and might need a bit of rotation.
Also you probably prefer a captain centre back or centre mid for coverage of the pitch.
Scowen is probably number 1 name on the teamsheet too.

Have we ever had a goalkeeper as captain? As in, regular captain.
Nikki Bull?
Can't find anything that suggests Martin Taylor did at all, who'd have been my only guess in my time watching Wycombe.
Was surprised to Ingram had captained us before though, but again, not more than a one off.
