Dramatic end to the Europa League final. Montiel - who scored the winning penalty for Argentina in the World Cup final - has the opportunity to do the same; terrible first pen saved; Roma 'keeper off his line, so it gets retaken and he scores. Sevilla win the Europa League / UEFA Cup for a ridiculous seventh time (no other club has won it more than three times).
Itv showed extended highlights of the liv v ars 89 title decider the other night. There were so many great moments away from the pitch, most from Bobby Robson and David Pleat.
My favourite is around 80mins, in one of the most tense and dramatic games ever, Brian Moore starts reading out a list of ex players' birthdays.
'Stan Mortensen has his birthday today. Happy birthday Morty!'
This was a bizarre episode all-round , I went to the last game, which by then was just a standard FA Cup early round game but with ESPN live, Chris Waddle on Comms, Martin Keown shouting and a 45 year old Cannigia
Ref should not have overruled VAR in first half, definitely a pen for Thistle. The sending off of County player for the foul was a mistake, rectified by VAR.

Would you mind explaining exactly what your fucking problem with me is?
Were they formerly known as Total Network Solutions?
Yes, they had to change their name after the FAW ruled that clubs couldn't be named after their sponsors.
I'm secretly in love with you
I thought you were in love with @Shev?
I love everyone except you tbh 🤣😉

Sevilla are the Real Madrid of that competition - the trophy just seems to have a gravitational pull towards them.
Arguably more impressive since the Europa League winners got a spot in the Champions League the next season (so you can't retain the trophy)
Sevilla retained the EL in 2016, and started this season in the CL also.
(if you come third in a CL group you go into the EL draw)
Sevilla will again be one of the favourtes for the EL next season.
Ffs 🤦
Is the badge battle still being waged ?

Is this Alex Samuel plying for Ross County? Just switched on.
Yes.
Witnessing a horrendous refereeing performance in this match.
Extraordinary that red card/yellow card/var wasn't it?

Crazy game, the playoffs do odd things to teams.
County with 90th minute goal, 3-3, 9 minutes added time.
Extra time, after County hit bar in final seconds.
Got a good mate in Inverness (Cally fan) saying Partick fans had already left, walking past his house
