You’re right Albion, one of Lancashires best kept secrets the Trough, absolutely stunning scenery and it's said that when Queen Elizabeth II was asked where she’d like to live if she ever retired she said the Trough of Bowland. Don’t know if that’s true or not but it would do for me!! 😉
She stayed at The Inn at Whitewell in the Trough several times. Stunning walking. Dog friendly. Peat fires in the bedrooms on arrival in winter. Truly amazing. Priced slightly differently from the Preston Travel Lodge!
Having just watched the end of the season review from last term on the website...how anyone thought we were out out of the play-offs in September (or even now!) escapes me. We were eighth and still sneaked in. For those of a nervous disposition, we are still in it.
Definitely still in it after your result last week and surely you must beat Morecambe tomorrow? Goal difference could be a problem because it’s worth a point at this stage but other than Ipswich and Barnsley, none of the other top six are cutting it. Of course Posh have had a super run to get in there but Derby and Plymouth seem to be struggling. At Bolton we’re really struggling injury wise at the moment, especially in Central defence where we’ve lost both Santos our Captain and Toal our right sided big man and it sounds like there are further injuries on top for tomorrow. Thankfully we’re at pretty much full strength in midfield and attack so we might just have to rely on scoring more than the opposition. There are certainly some banana skins tomorrow so another 3 points for you and it’s all to play for. Great time of the season this. 😉

I thought Reading were under a transfer embargo?

Yes don’t venture out into the corridors after closing time. Room service seems to be somewhat popular.🙄
Those last six words seem a fair description of Joey Barton.
Ibis hotel at M6 J32 is ideally located for the Fleetwood & Morecambe games. Next door is the Phantom Winger where you can buy this ...
I'm on my way.
What *isn't* in that burger?
I think there might have been the option to add pulled pork as well 🤪
Always a risk when there’s no en suite.
That would be a kid's menu item here in the U.S.
I'll have the burger please, and the kids would all like the shit in a kettle.
Just three points off again now. We could be back in the playoffs on Tuesday 18th.
Three points yes, but our GD will not help us here.
It is what it is though, all we can do is focus on our own results and hope others drop points along the way.
Sadly Bolton’s run-in looks very gentle indeed.

Getting back to the title of the thread, this fan has put a hand up to announce the season being over
And these
And definitely these guys
No way it is over for Oxford - they need to finish the business of getting relegated.

@FarmerCee Do you think you’ll be looking to sign any centre backs this summer?
Put your hands in the air like you don't care.......
I’ve had enough of this season.
Agreed i just want the fake dons to get relegated to cheer me up.
Yes.
Cheltenham score an added time equalizer against the fake dons 2-2. YEEEEEEESSSSS!!!
I'm joining you miserable bastads, so I'm a yes too now.
Not like me to be picky, @Malone (especially in the present circumstance) but has the ‘r’ in that word been officially deleted?
Glad you’ve joined us, obviously.🤔
