I know my ITK credibility has taken a battering but I can only say that's exactly what he told me.
Quote "I've broken my tibia, they told me 4 weeks but I did the same thing to the other leg and it was close to 6 months". GMac even declined an invitation to stand on the terrace for last weekends game because "I can't stand for that long".
If the 4 weeks was from injury to return rather than 4 weeks from the conversation then he's about on track.
Anyway it's a good job my hat is tasty! Although he hasn't actually played yet so maybe he'll be sitting there with his protective boot & crutches.
Only thing I’d say against Grimmer is that he does have a tendency to absolutely hammer a ball down the line that’s impossible for anyone to control or just flies out of play.
Always feel like the better option there would be to play inside.

Let's see what the top bantz on the FGR forum are saying about us.
"This could dwell be another tough watch"
And that's it.
They mustn’t dwell on it. Self-dereating.
He is supremely fit. If only he and Taf could meet in the middle somehow.
Interesting signing that screamed emergency pad the squad out job.
If he's not starting over full backs it doesn't suggest a long term deal is coming.
You can be the fittest man in the world but you're not recovering from a broken tibia in a couple of weeks.
He was injured for almost two years before he signed for us wasn't he? Maybe he just can't recover to the necessary level.
He clearly didn't have a broken tibia did he?
Well exactly.
Yet a couple or posters are adamant he told them he did at a sponsors dinner.
Clearly he was telling fibulas

Slightly concerned that Sam Vokes is taking a long time to climb the steps up to the gantry.
Jasper is carrying him up
‘Heavy touch from McCarthy’
*Chef’s kiss*
Wheeler looking really sharp on the right, few nice touches so far from Hanlan as well
Great start
WBA 1 QPR 0.
Despite the mixed reviews, Campbell already has three goals for us, which is not bad going.
Only just got his breath back.
Is TJ going to end up a defensive midfielder or would he just get booked every week? Great drive there.
That run of Tjay win you over @Malone ?
I feel like playing into the wind is actually helping us at the moment.

Strange how we've felt on top, without really trying to keep the ball through midfield at all
Bernard starting to get a few clogs in but was nearly beheaded himself by that overhead kick by Tjay.
The refs doing a good job here, but FGR are full of little niggling fouls.
McCarthy 🙃
We need to get that second (obviously).
Time the ref added to his 96 yellows, methinks.
Not sure why, against this poor team, our tactic is to simply aim for Wheeler
Some very soft fouls being given against us in FGR’s box today
