The words @glasshalffull doesn't like hearing, this is a must win game. Not going to be easy because their fighting to stay in the division but we have to do it.
Great chance for a Dalai Lama joke but let's focus on the game. If we can't beat Soylent Green Rovers today then any talk of the playoffs can be chucked in a recyciing bin. Maths or not.
Play off chance still alive or not, im hoping for a good game and the 3 points. Today I'm bringing my eldest to his first ever match. Charlie is almost 7 and he is soooo excited and it is a father and son moment I've been excited about ever since he was born. I will be frequenting the family stand instead of the terrace for the first time in many moons!
Sad position for Forest Green it is a decent little club and I can think of many more in our league I would prefer to go down before them including the horse punchers, PNL and the franchise.
I have done this with all three of my boys many moons ago and it is a wonderful feeling. My lads are all still big Wycombe fans. Have a great day and I hope we put on a great show for your young lad 👍👍
Post of the day. Never had the chance to take my grandson to a match when he was that age but, in the last few months, his dad has taken him a couple of times and (at 23) he has thoroughly enjoyed it. Our daughter is very concerned (!) because he enjoys jazz (some manifestations at least) and watching Wycombe Wanderers. Heaven forfend that he could be turning into her dad.
The sun’s coming out and the excitement (for both of you) must be growing. Hope you have an afternoon that will stay forever in both your minds. For all the right reasons, of course.
Can only read this as a good opportunity for some of the stand-ins and non-regulars against a pretty poorly performing team on the brink of relegation, the shape and make up isn't ideal but need to see a lot more from the front three. Playoffs have been an unlikely bonus for some time but for me this game might inform who we want to keep from some of those not signed up yet. Fight for your team and your places chaps.
They weren’t too poorly performing when they beat Sheffield Wednesday. It’ll be tough, especially with “our friend” Bernard clogging a few more like he did on the New Lawn, a very inappropriate description of their pitch.

Ok we don’t like must win. So let’s just say we are drinking last chance saloon!!!
let’s get fully behind the boys today
COYB
But why is the unicorn sticking his tongue out? That's the big question of the day.
Most feebly contested drop-ball ever
If you're a unicorn, you can do whatever you like
No idea but the lion is turning his head away in disgust.
Feels like we’ve gone from working touching distance of the playoffs to the periphery in a couple of weeks.
When was the last time we relegated a team? I think if we win, Oxford win and MK draw, FGR are down.
We relegated Gillingham on the last day of the season, unfortunately we were already down. Beat them 3 -0 i think.
Let's hope we don't relegate them then, as I don't want either of those 2 to get any points

Something to do with Brexit perhaps ?

I can't wait 😁

That lion is as interested in the ball as Donacien
Anyone at AP…any sign of Vokesey or GMac out on the grass?
Gmac back on the bench, joined by Taff who has a knock.
No Vokes today.
Broken tibia was it @Twizz
Must be the quickest healing one in the history of the world 😂

@davecz Much as you love to@glasshalffull bait it's @eric_plant who hates must win the most I think
I genuinely never thought we’d see GMac again
Well a broken leg takes anywhere north of 3months minimum.
So it was probably more a bruised, or strained muscle at worst.
More pleased that the "very close" to a return was just that. With presumably Vokes just missing out, but very likely next game.
It's all still alive @Alexo enjoy!
It's 2pm.
It's all doable again.
Come , well not 4.45pm obviously as it is Wycombe, but say 5.15, there will be mass writing off of next season.
"Bloomfield was the cheap option"
"Gazza should never have left"
"Why didn't we buy into Booker, that was the only option"
"Don't worry about the money"
etc.
So erm, roll on a nice win please.
I was the same. Really good news (assuming he doesn’t have to walk to the dugouts on crutches just to make up the numbers)
Is Willis injured? Seems strange to be.playing a centre half as a centre back when we have one on the bench.
