By comparison, Sheffield Wednesday's total is £9.6m.
All of this is small beer compared to Chelsea (£212m) and Man City (£182m). However, Brighton (£35.7m) and Brentford (£30m) are doing OK in the top half of the PL on much smaller salaries.
I am shocked to be honest that GA could not consolidate their position. I do think now he might not survive such an abject run. Fans not happy with performances or tactics despite the fact they largely blame the players.
Lots of blame for players and owners there but the last few games won't convince anyone he wasn't a panic / PR choice or that he's got the answers to turn it round.

Another totally normal set of accounts from a league club.
Imagine being rich and thinking owning Colchester would be a fun way to spend your money!
Gun toting Republican from the 'Deep South' googles 'British capital'
Colchester was indeed the capital of England when the Romans were here,
I found this website, which lists the WWFC wages for the current season, a total 0f £4.2m, although some of the individual player numbers don't seem right: Wycombe Wanderers 2023 Wages | Player & Team totals (salarysport.com)

Queen Boudica cleansed Colchester.
@bargepole don’t believe everything you read on the internet.
OK noted. Does that include stuff posted on this forum?
Everything on this forum is fact.
Except for this post, which is a lie.
Lampard is the new Chelsea manager. If you believe this post you'll believe anything.
How can you state that as if it's fact. Unless you're ITK
I thought it had been a while since Colchester had seen success, but did not realize it was back in Roman times.
Given that Colchester is no longer the capital I think that counts as failure.
That was my little joke @bargepole
Not even a city or the County town either (Chelmsford). Bit of a nonentity nowadays.
Sorry if already been mentioned, but Ascot made the FA Vase Final at Wembley.
QPR are not losing. The pig flying outside my window did hit a tree, though.
Come on son, give them time, still 45mins to lose it.
Cardiff (below QPR) thrashing Blackpool who thrashed QPR.
Spoke too soon QPR 0 Preston 1.
Huddersfield winning as well.
QPR now 1 point above relegation zone.
QPr 0 Preston 2.
Wowzers, things have gone madly wrong over the last few weeks.
They had a 10 point buffer not long back.
They're lucky Reading had that 6 point deduction, but still only hold them off by 1 point, and every chance Reading scrape a winner later.
QPR 2 down!
Will GA survive this? People keep saying he will get to the end of the season, but it has been an unmitigated disaster to date.
If Reading find a winner today, the atmosphere at QPR will drop off a cliff, as they're benefitting from 2 other teams down there having deductions!

Their last manager lasted 9 games i believe.
