If Derby beat Cheltenham at home tonight we are suddenly going to be looking a long way from the playoffs again. Hopefully the Robins can do something special!
Brenda's boys are making a game of it at long last but Blackburn are still holding the lead thanks to Pears in goal & a Scowen on steroids performance from Morton at the back. Been really impressed with Dolan wide on the left up front, bags of pace & a great right foot.
Nope, did sum total of not very much except for the wonder goal, wiki says 13 league appearances which seems generous, had a few games elsewhere based on his new found fame before drifting into non-league.
Don't forget, @StrongestTeam, he came in prior to the quarter final in early March, and played most of the rest of the season for the very reason he came in in the first place - we literally had no-one else. We were behind on league games because of the cup run which had included three replays. In DevC speak, 13 matches "feels about right".
Price of football pod seems to confirm that Wayne Rooney's Derby were excused 75% of their tax bill. Approximately £15m in tax collected as part of player, staff and fan contributions pocketed and forgiven in subsidy.
Wow - and their fans act as though they have some kind of moral high ground. I hope HMRC remember that precedent the next time a small club is in the docket.

I’m Serie A Cremonese have just won their first league game of the season. What’s even more surprising is that they’re not even bottom of the league!
5 wins in all comps this season: 3 v lower league opposition, 2 v Roma. Oh José...
Not quite sure how Blackburn arent 1 up against Leicester
Now they are and fully deserve it, they have been the better side by far
Blackburn are outplaying Leicester & are unlucky not to be more than 2 up

Play up Pompey!
Three games in hand on Bolton. They’re the ones to catch.

Did big Roy get a contract with us for the following season?
I don’t think so

Just made the story even better.
What a time to score his single goal.

Yeah, Def bare bones, fill-ins, trialists, loanees, youth teamers and freebies all injured.

If Grimsby beat Southampton tonight, they'll became the first team in FA Cup history to knock out five teams from a higher division in one season.
At the end they owed HMRC around 38M and St. John Ambulance around £8000.
Shocking if true, they should have been made to pay the full amount back even if it took 10 years.
How many have done four, other than Wycombe and Grimsby?
Possibly Lincoln when they got to the QFs?
Spurs in 1901, a third round victory against fellow Southern Leaguers Reading preventing the 5.
Lincoln DID beat 4
Telford United 84/85
1-0 Grimsby
Away end full of inflatable fish, love it
