A slow, mournful procession back to the center circle would have been much more appropriate. If only they were all ex-Bournemouth players and did not want to celebrate against their old team.
Congrats to Wilder, I make him the 3rd full time manager since they said they definitely understand now and won't sack managers so quickly, about 8 months ago.
What a statistic that is. We’re not used to having a manager with such a short continuous period of service but for now, the Bloomfield Scale is wonderful.
Five of those permanent Watford managers have managed for the same or less games than Trevor Brooking did as caretaker manager. Trevor managed 14 games.
Most people remember the Doncaster game for Jason's flying tackle. I remember Johnny Pervert farting and the stewards having to separate the Valley as allegations of 'who dun it' owned the narrative
Liam Manning apparently set to be announced as the new Oxford manager. Reaction from PNL fans seems to range from 'never heard of him' to 'he failed at MK so will be rubbish here'.
From the high of a 7-0 nil romp to losing to the team rock bottom of the table. No wonder Gaz's "never too high, never too low" mantra is so effective.
Although it's so tight down there Bournemouth have currently moved up to 16th!
Certainly a continuity appointment in terms of playing possession-based football, but not sure he's what you need in a relegation dogfight - 2 big relegation six-pointers coming up for them as well, vs Morecambe and Chelts.
Just seen Ainsworth described as "God" on QPR forum. It would seem it was a real battle today, players putting themselves in the line and nothing left behind... sound familiar ? And the QPR fans absolutely loved it !

Corrected the BBC piece "I just do what I'm told by the idiot owners" technical director Ben Manga told the club website.
Manga apparently used to be a car mechanic.
Why not? Change all roles on a daily basis. Whoever is passing.
Wilder just got fired by Watford.

An even better stat in that 10.5 year period.
Five of those permanent Watford managers have managed for the same or less games than Trevor Brooking did as caretaker manager. Trevor managed 14 games.
Insane scenes at the Belgrade derby, where the visiting Partizan fans had to be segregated not only from the Red Star supporters but also among themselves https://twitter.com/DTathletic/status/1633391300912218115?t=Qi9U9R_rW4mEfJXcDUFiWw&s=19
Reminiscent of the Valley Terrace left side/right side wars of the late 90s
I've been looking at going to Red Star at the end of this season with my 12 year old son.
This looks ace though probably very different for a normal game
Pffft, Franchise called and said they want their segregation for sporting advantage back.
The ref wearing red socks in manu v betis is pure officious nonsense.
But also hilarious
Do the fa do this @peterparrotface ?
Seems legit

Liam Manning to Oxford. When he takes MK and Pox down in the same season. Time magazine man of the year :)
Liam Manning apparently set to be announced as the new Oxford manager. Reaction from PNL fans seems to range from 'never heard of him' to 'he failed at MK so will be rubbish here'.
But Oxford fans love a meaningless five yard side ways pass from one center back to another. He's the perfect fit.
Barca charged with corruption over payments to VP of referee's committee. (Sits down with popcorn).
More chance of Man City being dealt with.
Liam Manning appointed new Oxford manager. Must say I think that’s a pretty good fit for them and a good hire
Good to see Chelsea doing their bit for the planet by flying to... Leicester
Anyone else watching Anis on sky ?
He's looking good so far
Bournemouth v Liverpool looked to be heading for 5-5 in the first half.

Liam Manning gets the PNL job.

Hard to see too many points there. Shame !
