Tottenham, who really need a trophy win dropped several key players and got what they deserved, guess planners have to factor that in to decisions too, in this case it probably made for a better time.
Oh dear, Franchise and Oxford both played the most games down the bottom. It’s not looking good for them both. Didn’t Oxford’s bad run start with the defeat against us or am I imagining that?
Sunderland fans hate Alex Neill - you know, the one who finally got then out of L1, and he got a hostile reception today when he returned with his rather mediocre Stoke side, including having items thrown at him.
Don’t know if anyone else caught the evening National League match last night but it was a cracking game with Maidenhead scoring in the last minute to get a 2-2 draw with title-challenging Wrexham - re-igniting the title race in the process
Great effort from Alan Devonshire’s team given the disparity between the two clubs. Having been 0-1 down at HT they gave it a great effort in the second half and got what they deserved. An absolute screamer of a first goal from the very promising Reece Smith too.
Also a crowd of about 3,500 at York Road, which along with the 7,000 at Adams Park meant a huge number of people in the local area went to watch a match this weekend. Great stuff.
High drama at Arbour Park yesterday in the National League South, when a crowd of 633 saw two Slough Town players dismissed with straight reds in the 38th minute, Joe Dandy for a high tackle in a 50/50 challenge, and Elliot Benyon for dissent.
Worthing then took the lead before half-time but Slough equalised after the break, to gain a remarkable draw against a team 23 points above them. Match highlights with a very excitable commentator.
Anyone listening to 3CR after the game yesterday may have heard a discussion about away ticket arrangements for Luton v Watford on 1st April, ko 12:30.
Away fans have a 1,000 allocation but can only get a ticket, £30 for adults, if they travel on an official supporters coach, which leaves at 10:30 from Watford stadium and costs £15. I don't know what has brought this on, in the reverse fixture last October, Watford won 4-0.
It didn't sound standard as the studio discussion was quite critical of the arrangements. Watford fans are not happy, not just having to pay £45, but for the inconvenience of those not living in or around Watford. Some suggest that the coach should be free.
Having watched it back in slow motion I can't see how that is a red card. Yes he's late and catches him but he's running at full steam and can't really get out of the way. Just seems that the coaching staff entering the pitch made enough of a song and dance for the ref to produce a red.
Slough must have a small squad or a huge injury crisis as the manager and assistant manager both played the full 90 mins. Scott Davies the Slough Town manager started at LB and after the two sending offs went to CB.
It's pointless having a manager at Watford because their players just down tools when they're fed up with the existing incumbent. However loads of managers will apply for the job as they know they have a guaranteed two years money for a few months work.

Either way, there will be no denying Grimsby's day in the sun when they line up against Man United in the final.
Rotherham 1-0 Qpr :(
Philip Billing with the second-fastest goal in PL history for Bournemouth at Arsenal
Gianni Infantino is at Millwall v Norwich
Someone should tell him that having a shaved head does not mean you have to become a Millwall fan.

Yep, you're spot on.
One point in 9 games now.
Wonder how many years they'd have to go back to match that.

Final score? Stoke won 5-1.
You’re better than this

Wow! That’s brilliant, fancy coming back from 1-0 down with 9 men against a much better side.
It would be hard enough to even get out your own half, let alone score and hang on for the point.

I would have thought that was the standard arrangement given the animosity between those two?

Wow that ground can take 3,500?
Must have been pretty uncomfortable.
Yeah, charging for the coach isn't really on.

They even had Louis Walsh on the bench
The sting that opens that video is incredible.
Watford onto their second manager of Matt Bloomfield's Wycombe tenure (and their third of the season, for the second season running...)

Watford should just install a revolving door for their management teams, it would be easier
Bilic was awful, but they're really, really good at making awful appointments in the first place.
I have heard Watford attach the pink slip to the hiring paperwork to increase efficiency.
I'm thinking of applying. Can't do any worse than the last lot.
Hopefully Wilder will be as successful at Watford as he was at Middlesbrough!! If so, we might well see the Hornets at Adams Park next season.
Whilst Watford's recent form hasn't been great they are sitting in 9th place, only 4 points behind Norwich in 6th.
It really shouldn't take much with their squad to get them back in contention.
Arsenal are being investigated by the FA for their celebrations against Bournemouth. How dare they show emotion!
